Funny, the customer service was so friendly until something changed and then it was abrupt and rude. I would not buy from this dealership nor would I recommend anyone else deal with them. More

I bought my last VW golf from Gary Moe in 2013. Initially I was not interested as I have had no problems with my VW Golf at all and I was very happy with it. Erin got me curious as to the great options and opportunities that were available to me if I considered trading in my VW for a newer model. I ended up getting the exact same VW 4 dr Golf except a 2015 with more features. I am very pleased. Erin and Cyrena were allstar Women to deal with on a very cold Saturday in December. Dealing with pushy sales people who didn't listen to what I had to say, to waiting for HOURS for oil changes, to employees having no idea what they are doing, I new it was time for a change. I stopped in at Gary Moe Volkswagon Red Deer to see what they had to offer! Was I ever in for a treat here! No one pushed, everyone knew what they were talking about, and extra deals were thrown in out of courtesy. My experience here was great! Would highly recommend everyone go here first so time isn't wasted when looking for a new ride! More

Great experience with Chris Carriere- accommodating staff! Came to the dealership looking for a used car I found online to test drive, and though that particular vehicle was at a different lot by that time, Ch Came to the dealership looking for a used car I found online to test drive, and though that particular vehicle was at a different lot by that time, Chris showed us the cars on the lot that were around my price range. I was still very unsure about what I wanted, but Chris was very patient and helped out with multiple test drives of cars from multiple Gary Moe dealerships around town to help me narrow down what I liked in a car, and let me try both new and used vehicles. He spent about six hours with me making sure that I was happy with my choice. I ended up purchasing a new Jetta. I was slightly alarmed when a few days later, I was called and told that the vehicle I had purchased was no longer available, and I would need to choose a new colour, however, Ryan was very good about discounting some additional features that I added to the vehicle because of the unavailability of my first choice. There was also a mix up with the information getting to the insurance on time for pickup, so I left the dealership with a dealer plate, however, Chris and Cyrena took care of this as well and even sorted out the switch in my registration to make up for the inconvenience. Chris even met me at a convenient time and place so I wouldn't have to go back to the dealership again to switch the plates. When I had trouble connecting my device to my new car, Chris personally walked me through how to fix the issue. I would reccommend him to anyone looking for a salesman who will take care of your needs both during, and after the sale. When I changed my mind about my extended warranty, Cyrena and the customer service staff helped out with that as well, taking care of things right away. I am happy with my experience so far and hope that things continue to be positive! More

Never purchase from VW Canada or Gary Moe's VW! VW CANADA/GARY MOE VOLKSWAGON are a bunch of xxxxxx bags. Never again will I buy another vehicle from that company and neither should you! I purchased my car last summer brand new off the lot. Right from the start my breaks squeaked. I was told when I went in for car washes (not documented) that it was ok the break pads needed to break in. A year later it still squeaks and multiple times of asking about them (undocumented) they tell me that I need to have them shaved down and it will cost me $430. That SHOULD be under warranty but oh darn look your 3000km over that part of the warranty and now it's considered wear and tear. Wear and tear?! But it happened from the moment I purchased the car. I didn't make a big deal of it trusting that it would go away and everything would be fine. I also never made a big deal of it because I don't have all day to leave my car at the dealership to be fixed. (Oh ya an oil change that shouldn't take too long sometimes takes 3-4 hrs!) So you see why I didn't push the need to get it done. I don't usually have that amount of time in my day to leave my car at the dealership. So VW Canada and Gary Moe will not do anything for me telling me its wear and tear and a life lesson for me. A life lesson that next time something is wrong to have it documented for one and get it in to the dealership for 2. I'll xxxxing give you a life lesson! Ryan Dandurand the sales manager was easily the nicest and most honest person I've ever dealt with at a dealership. Like buying a car off of an old friend. Everything was very transparent and there were no surprises waiting for me at signing. Negotiations were super easy and I got a fantastic deal. I spent most of my time dealing with Ryan, but Jacob in sales was also really nice to deal with and showed me around the car when I picked it up. Bernie the Business Manager was great too, quickly had me sign some papers and I was on my way. Very nice team to deal with. If you're buying a Volkswagen it's definitely worth your time to check these guys out. More
