Asstoundingly bad service Just had similar experience with Ford Canada.... ....Bought a Fusion Hybrid 2013 which has now just come back from the Ford Gabriel dealership in M Just had similar experience with Ford Canada.... ....Bought a Fusion Hybrid 2013 which has now just come back from the Ford Gabriel dealership in Montreal after a visit following our receipt of a second letter from HQ about a second recall for a second urgent issue. The appointment was made many days ago and the reason (the recall notice number supplied) for the appointment was given. The dealer had our car 8 hours. Was told "we have to order parts" when I called to make double sure it was ready before I left to pick it back up. For a pre-arranged recall service visit. LOL. When I got back with my car, I called Ford of Canada. Went through all the process of ID'ing the car, the customer, the dealer, etc. politely went through the explanation of the situation and then after some dialogue with the call centre person about where else I could take the car for warranty service and not have the same bad experience, was frankly told that Ford of Canada doesn't rank or supervise the quality of service of their dealers. Wow BIG WOW. Was also told that the dealer couldn't be expected to have "all the parts required." For a national recall visit. For an appointment made days ago. On a vehicle that they had the VIN number for. Told the polite and courteous lady that her interaction with me was wonderful but that Ford Canada was a disaster and that I would make sure many others heard about it. (Thanks for listening, everyone). For what it's worth, Toyota has had their own somewhat recent scary manufacturing problems but over 25 years of driving Camry's, each literally past the 300,000 km range, we never ever experienced such shabby product nor service from their organisation.
