I placed a $1k deposit with Favorit Motors on the clear condition that if the vehicle (2018 Mercedes E63s) failed a pre-purchase inspection (PPI), my deposit would be refunded. The salesperson confirmed condition that if the vehicle (2018 Mercedes E63s) failed a pre-purchase inspection (PPI), my deposit would be refunded. The salesperson confirmed this agreement in writing multiple times. However, instead of a proper PPI - a full, buyer-directed inspection assessing mechanical, structural and cosmetic integrity - the dealership arranged only a Ministry of Transportation safety inspection at Mercedes-Benz Maple. This is not what was agreed to. Even that limited safety inspection documented front-end collision repair, vehicle pull, and water in the trunk whichh are all clear issues. Despite this, Favorit Motors has not refunded my full deposit, saying they will deduct the cost of the SAFETY INSPECTION I never agreed to. I have written proof of the refund condition, the dealer’s confirmation and the inspection results. Be very cautious with deposits and confirm in writing exactly what inspection will be performed and by whom before paying. More

Do not buy anything from them. The first week I got my car I noticed an oil leak, turn out it needs a transfer case replacement at a cost of 10k. You think having a safety done , the mechanic would have noted this issue and brought forward. Sure I bought the extended warranty but PCW wont cover it because it "wear and tear"??? I had to bring vehicle to a Maserati seasoned mechanic which stated the transfer case is defective and create the damaged oil seal and PCW still wont cover cost. Also purchase theft protection at a cost of $2000 with an app that will monitor everything but i found out i need a subscription of approx. $30/mth. I was mislead by everyone and overcharged for all add ons. And why do they need detail financial records, such as Notice of Assessment for previous yr if I've been approved? Ive had a terrible experience purchasing my dream car. Thank you Jason. More
