This was the email that I sent Mr. Policaro: Good This was the email that I sent Mr. Policaro: Good Morning Mr. Policaro, I am shooting you an email to tell you my vehicle purchase experience a This was the email that I sent Mr. Policaro: Good Morning Mr. Policaro, I am shooting you an email to tell you my vehicle purchase experience at My Family Honda. At first I was well greeted and looked after by Matthew. The only issue I had was that your dealership didn't have the exact vehicle I wished to purchase at the time, which was a Honda Accord Touring. I was told by Matthew that he was told by his Manager, which I would presume was either Michael or Ryan, that the Touring wouldn't be in stock for another 3 weeks. So I settled for the Honda Accord EXL. It turns out that three days after the purchase of my vehicle, the Touring model was available. I do not know why I was lied to by Matthew or his manager about the availability of the Touring model, but this experience has left me with a very bad taste. At the time of the vehicle pick up, I contacted Matthew requesting that he would fax my broker the information needed for insurance purposes. This was not done and I drove the vehicle with the impression that it was all taken care of; I called my broker the following day and they did not receive anything from Matthew or MyFamilyHonda. When I was called by Matthew asking how my experience was, I told him I was discontent with the purchase and that I didn't like the fact that I was told that it would be 3 weeks for touring model to come in when it was 3 days after my purchase. Matthew said I am sorry but that is what I was told by my managers. At no time did Matthew offer anything to make amends for the mistake/lie. Now, Matthew, a month later from the purchase, is requesting that I forward him my information of insurance, something that should have been done at the time of purchase. I have faxed this information on January 20th, 2014 at exactly 10:40am; I will also be re-faxing it again today. Although the sale has already been finalized and MyFamilyHonda has made their money, this will be the first and last time that I bring my business to any of the Policaro Automotive Family Dealerships, and I will caution anyone I speak with looking to purchase a car to steer clear of these dealerships. Good business/consumer relationships are built on trust, excellent service, integrity, and putting the customer first; I feel that this has not at all been the case. Thank you for your time in reading this email. A very unsatisfied new Honda owner, Joshua L. After this email I received a call from Francesco. He made me waste one hour of time to come into the dealership to basically buy my month old car at $10,000 less the purchase price and to sell me the touring at a higher cost. He then stated that receptionists are told to tell potential customer's that they have the car and model they are looking for even if this isn't true, this came out of Francesco Policaro's Mouth on December 28th at exactly 6:53pm. My Family Honda's Motto "By Hook Or By Crook!" I highly recommend to stay away from this dealership or any of the other Policaro Automotive Family Dealerships. More

I bought my first car at Family Honda (Accord EXL) and the experience was not very pleasant but I liked the car, so when I came down to pick up the car it was not ready, and I was given all those lousy ex the experience was not very pleasant but I liked the car, so when I came down to pick up the car it was not ready, and I was given all those lousy excuses. Anyhow as a service provider, a promise should not be made if it cannot be delivered. The worst part was that even the Management did not take any initiative and/or actions to resolve the matter and I was very disappointed. In result, I end up picking the car without getting it fixed. After making few calls and speaking with sales person I finally got the opportunity to get my car fixed. Not sure if I should go back and/or refer any of my friends to Family Honda. However, I don’t mind going back if they can demonstrate that services has been improved. Lesson learned "Get Everything in Writing” and get some referrals! More

Sales Person and neither any other Manager explained me about the Globali.com fee for $399.00 + tax and Wheel locks hefty price on my invoice. It should have been optional and not mandatory charges. Classi about the Globali.com fee for $399.00 + tax and Wheel locks hefty price on my invoice. It should have been optional and not mandatory charges. Classic Honda in Brampton doesn't charge this fee. So basically, your vehicle will cost more and dealer will enjoy extra $500. More
Below is a copy of the email I sent to Family Honda & cc'd Northwest Toyota. "For the past 2 weeks I've been trying to get some answers about buying out my vehicle from Family Honda with no response cc'd Northwest Toyota. "For the past 2 weeks I've been trying to get some answers about buying out my vehicle from Family Honda with no response. I have to secure the total amount due to buy out the vehicle so I need some answers. As you can see below I emailed Marc on November 14, 2011 telling him that I was purchasing the car & I asked some questions about doing so. I have not heard back from Marc. Last week I called & left a message for John Paul and he didn't get back to me either. After not hearing back from John Paul I decided that I would stop in to talk to someone directly. On Wednesday November 23, 2011 I came into Family Honda. After a short wait with the receptionist I was told that John Paul was too busy to see me. The receptionist took my name & number and said she would get a manager to get back to me right away. It is now Monday November 28, 2011 & I still have not heard from anyone. The sad part about this is that Marc called me many times to try to set up an appointment to lease another vehicle. It was only after telling him that I was buying out the vehicle I have had no response from Marc or anyone else at Family Honda. My wife is currently leasing a car from Northwest Toyota that will come due in June of this year. We will be leasing another vehicle. I understand that Family Honda & Northwest Toyota are owned by the same family. In saying that, I'm I to assume that I will get the same sort of service from Northwest Toyota as I'm getting from Family Honda? If so I'm afraid that we would have to look else where to lease a vehicle. If some one at Family Honda could please get back to me it would be greatly appreciated" I did get a call back right away but the bad customer service did not end there. I was told to bring in they payment, emissions test & certification and they would change over the ownership. When I delivered them the payment emissions test & certification I was then told that the payment had to be sent to Honda Canada Finance and they would send me a POA to change over the ownership. And then I had to present the emissions test & certification to the MTO myself. They delayed getting the payment to Honda Canada Finance so I didn't recieve the POA to change over the ownership until the certification had expired, so I had to get another certification for the car. Worst customer service I have ever had. More
DON’T BUY CAR FROM FAMILY HONDA!!!! My extremely bad DON’T BUY CAR FROM FAMILY HONDA!!!! My extremely bad experience in trading my 1999 Accord EXL for a brand new 2011 CRV LX with Michael Roman/Sale DON’T BUY CAR FROM FAMILY HONDA!!!! My extremely bad experience in trading my 1999 Accord EXL for a brand new 2011 CRV LX with Michael Roman/Sales and Leasing Consultant Rajan Sabharwal/Finance Services Manager Merryl Mascarenhas/General Sales Manager I signed the Vehicle Purchase Agreement on Apr06, 2011 to trade the Accord for $2,000.00 while by the time I went to pick up the new CRV on Apr11, 2011, they dared to refuse but to offer for $1,000.00 trade off value instead $2,000.00. Tortured for 2.5 hours by impolite manner and uncivilized way to do business, I was eventually been rip-off under no alternative because they had already changed the ownership of my Accord and they refused to change it back, so as refused to cancel the deal or to take away my $1,000.00 deposit. Under no circumstance but I had to re-sign another absolutely unfair Vehicle Purchase Agreement. Sent official complaint on Apr15, 2011 to the owner of Family Honda, Basil Policaro, who he is also the owner of Policaro Auto Group, is running business for Northwest Lexus, Northwest Toyota, Acura 2000, Acura Barrie and of course, Family Honda but no response. WHAT IS THE POINT TO SIGN THE AGREEMENT AS THEY DON’T RESPECT THE SPIRIT OF THE SALES CONTRACT. T. Leung/Mississauga, Ontario, Canada More
