Goodbye Caliber..HELLO Escape!!! I went into Erinwood Ford feeling scared and nervous. I'd been driving my Caliber for 8 years..and it was on it's last legs. This was the longest car I went into Erinwood Ford feeling scared and nervous. I'd been driving my Caliber for 8 years..and it was on it's last legs. This was the longest car I've ever owned! That's when I met Martin Menzies..for the first time. He was such a calming influence! When we had talked earlier, I was maybe looking at a Focus..maybe used.. He already had a good idea of who I was, and what I'd like. He was SO right!! I got in the Escape, and it was like a light went on! I LOVE this vehicle!! I didn't want to stop driving it on the test drive!! We took out a Focus after..but I was already dizzy from the beautiful drive in that Escape! Then, came the hard part: the negotiations. I was so nervous, I almost threw up! Again..Martin said all the right things that just made me relax..and smile!! We talked terms, dollars and driving habits. He got me to focus on all the positives happening..helped me to look at the big picture..and I was able to get the Escape: at a price that was reasonable, and no difficult haggling! Martin took care of EVERYTHING!! Plate transfer, insurance..getting the Escape nice and clean for me. I'm driving it right now..and I can't stop..SMILING!! I have to give a BIG thanks to Erinwood Ford..but it all goes to Martin Menzies!! He was the perfect salesman!! No pressure, very comforting..he did everything that I asked..and made this experience (which I thought would be stressful) enjoyable. Also, Erinwood Ford was a very good looking dealership! Clean..well kept.. The staff were very friendly; they all seemed to like their jobs and where they were. It was like they were a family! Put great pricing together with customer service and I don't think that you have to go anywhere else.
