Erin Park Lexus Toyota was born and the Toyota store was expanded to include a distinct Lexus showroom. In 2004, Lexus was granted its own dealership just down the street from the original Toyota location. Erin Park Lexus has now grown to become one of the largest volume Lexus dealership in the country. Becca29 My name is PJ Caletti, General Manager at Erin Park Lexus. I have reviewed your comments and appreciate you taking the time to provide feed back to our dealership. I first and foremost apologize that you did not receive the absolute best in experiences with us as that is something we most definitely strive to deliver. We strive to provide the best experiences but seems there could be some misunderstandings which have occurred. I do appreciate you choosing Lexus and welcome to the Lexus family, I do wish it could have been with us. The CT has a continuously variable transmission and I wonder with Leo being relatively new to the Lexus family that he misinterpreted your question as these cars don't have gears per say. As I am not aware of what specific feature you may be referring to, he should absolutely have worked to get you the proper answer. We are a progressive employer and try to assist the community by continually seeking to add to our team and although there is no excuse for not delivering an answer, he is relatively new and as a human being seems he made a mistake, I do trust you will accept that and forgive him for stubbing his toe on that question. With respect to availability, Lexus dealers have the ability to search the country for available cars which we can get for you from other stores. I will not bore you with all the details but a dealer can remove a vehicle from our view by changing the status of their own vehicles. Meaning, when we attempt to search for an available unit, a dealer can hide that car so to us, it would indeed appear that a car is not available when in fact it is. The information available to the manager which was shared with you would have been accurate based on what he saw when he searched for the vehicle. I cannot prescribe that another dealer not do that as they own their inventory and if they hide it from the search engine then we are unaware as to it even existing. I assure you, had the vehicle shown as available we would have communicated that to you, your business is important to us and we would never stop the process of purchase by making up a road block for the guest if none seemingly exist, I trust that also makes good sense. I welcome you to visit with me personally and I can show you how that system works. Why do I spend so much time on this? You have a poor perception of our dealership and to some extent for reasons beyond our control. We most certainly do not arrive in the morning prescribing to our team to deliver poor experiences to our guests, quite the contrary, I trust you accept that. It is my hope we can connect so that you might see that this entire dealership has a laser like focus on your experiences, and yes, try as we might we are human and we always have room to improve, anyone who thinks they have reached perfection is destined to fail. Again, why I first and foremost appreciate your taking the time to share feedback, so that we may constantly seek to work with our team to deliver even better experiences.
