Unexpected find at a Jeep dealership though not surprised, I found an FJ Cruiser at this dealership and when I walked in, I was welcomed by Nabeel Ali whom owns a Jeep Wrangler and does O though not surprised, I found an FJ Cruiser at this dealership and when I walked in, I was welcomed by Nabeel Ali whom owns a Jeep Wrangler and does Off-Roading :) not much of haggling was needed to get nearly the price I wanted for the car, and the rest was even easier. Dealership arranged for financing and the best part, the car was ready for pick up the next working day :) :) Love the car, great work and help from Nabeel. He even took the time to show me around and got me some GIFTS from Service, Parts and the body shop. He rocks More
Service could have been good , but each time they could have blown their service out of the water, they over promise and under deliver. I saw a vehicle I was interested in in a , but each time they could have blown their service out of the water, they over promise and under deliver. I saw a vehicle I was interested in in auto trader, so I called Erin Dodge and was very upfront with them. I told them straight out I was interested in this vehicle and asked them how negotiable they were with the price. I gave a price on the phone and ask them if that price would be reasonable as I didn’t want to waste their time and I didn’t want them to waste my time as I would have to drive an hour fromRichmond Hill to see the vehicle and it would be difficult for me, especially having to drag along 2 young kids after a long day of work and school to make it out there. I spoke with Denny on the phone, he seemed nice and spoke with his manager, he came back and said ‘yes’ that he could work with that price. So I said, ok, if that’s the case, then I will somehow drag the family out to look at the car. We drove an hour on a school/work night to Mississauga to look at the vehicle. When we got there, Denny acknowledged our arrival, however, for the rest of the night, we were pretty much ignored as it seemed like he was busy attending to other customers. We sat there and waited patiently for a total of one hour and 15 minutes. As 9pm approached, I started getting restless, I knew they were closing and we haven’t even been attended to yet. By 9:15 pm, I knew all the staff would want to go home, but I was feeling furious as I specifically said to Denny to please don’t waste my time as we’d be driving all the way from RH to look at this vehicle and not only did we waste our time driving all the way out there, we left after waiting an hour and 15 minutes without even looking at the car. I went home furious at how ridiculously bad the experience was! I thought that would be the end of my experience there. However, at around 11pm that night, Denny called and apologized profusely for what had happened. He sounded sincere and offered to compensate me for my gas. He also promised me that he would get me a good deal on the vehicle. I asked him if he could get me the vehicle for $21,000? So I thought we agreed that if after reviewing the vehicle and everything checks out, that I would be getting the vehicle for $21,000. Anyways, we left the conversation with him that he would take some photos and videos of the car and send them to me by phone. I think this is the only promise he did fully fulfill as he did set the expectation letting me know that he wasn’t working the next day, however, that he would send the photos the day after once he was back to work. The photos of the vehicles looked good, so I decided I was still interested in the car. We actually ended up negotiating the price of the car on the phone. I was a bit disappointed in the price I got, as I don’t think I got any better of a deal than what I would have gotten otherwise. When it came to the bill of sale, I was more disappointed as not only did I not get the price I originally thought I was getting, I also wasn’t told about some sort of $499 fee and on top of that, not only was I promised that I would have been compensated for wasting my time and gas driving out there the other night, instead I was charged an extra $25 fee for gas. so the expectations were set here, but I felt like it didn’t meet. The sale was conditional upon us taking the car for a test drive and my trade in vehicle being ok. Denny texted me on the Saturday morning before I was about to drive there to look at the car, he asked if I wanted coffee from Tim Hortons, I told him I was actually on my way down and was about to stop in a Tim Hortons for some coffee, so I told him ok, if he was going to pick some up, then I’ll skip my coffee run. I showed up, no coffee, damnit!! This is a huge ‘no, no’. Again, don’t set expectations unless they are going to be fulfilled! Fine, I missed my coffee for the day. I’ll let this one go. So Monday, the day of picking up the car. I was told to arrive at the dealership at 1pm. I showed up at 1:06 pm. Not sure if it’s the hubby that set the 1pm timeframe, but Denny told me he told him for me to arrive in the afternoon. I was expecting to be there for maybe 1-2hrs at most. Instead, I was there until 6pm!!! By 4 pm, I started getting hungry and restless! I don’t know what we were waiting for, but from what I understood, we were waiting for Lincoln to buff the car, so I expected this awesome buff job. When the car came out, it was covered in dust and white marks that you could rub off with your finger. Another huge disappointment! By that time, I was already hungry, impatient and restless, so I told them running it through a car wash would do an even better job! Luckily Vania came running out and saw what was happening, and how unacceptable the condition of the car was in. She immediately told Denny to take it through the car wash with me. It got rid of some of the white marks, but overall, it was disappointment after disappointment. At least Vania acknowledged my frustration and tried to make up for it with giving me car mats for the vehicle. Vania seemed able to take control of the situation, especially after so many expectations were set and it seemed like disappointment after disappointment. Last, as I was driving the vehicle home some sort of rubber flap came off on the passenger side door. And I haven’t heard back from anybody and the transfer of extended warranty from the previous owner to me. Again, over promise, under deliver More
