I popped in to Mini Durham a few months ago just for fun. My wife has always wanted a Mini, and I asked Jason if he thought I could pull off buying one for her as a 40th birthday surprise. I didn't really intend on pulling the trigger, but I was curious to see how much Minis were, and if I could fit in one (I'm 6'1") with my kids in the seats behind me. A few things surprised me that day - how inexpensive Minis were, how I fit inside one, and how much fun it was talking to Jason about making this happen! Jason and I connected via iMessage, and stayed in touch every week or so. He'd send me pictures of Minis I might be interested in, and answers to questions came easily and quickly. I couldn't have imagined buying a car through text messaging a few years ago, but the technology worked for me! I finally broke down and told my wife what I was up to. She visited Jason at the dealership (no kicking or screaming) and was instantly hooked. Jason was a total pro. He watched our kids as the parents took a few Minis out for testing. Other staff brought us coffees and snacks as we kicked the tires on several options. Jason was never impatient, and he put up with our indecision quite well. We looked all over the GTA for Minis and we couldn't picture buying one from anyone else. We couldn't wait for my wife's birthday, or even Christmas. We ended up getting exactly what we wanted, with a more than fair return on our trade-in. Jason took his time during delivery, explaining every detail of the new car to my wife as a Miniac would do. I think he was happier for us than we were! When you're buying a new car and everybody has them, it's the small things that matter. Jason always remembered my kids' names (we were in there 4-5 times), and didn't forget the conversations and details we'd exchanged every time we talked. He followed-up with great care after we left with the car. I have already been back to buy accessories and Mini propaganda for the new Miniac in our house. It was an absolutely fantastic experience buying a car from Jason @ Mini Durham. If they made a truck, I'd be his next customer. More
