They were able to use real life scenarios that they have seen in the past as a means to make me consider the importance of specific warranties. As a first time car buyer, and female, I found our sales representative to be very thorough in explaining certain things, and when it became obvious to him that I did not really know what he was talking about, he tried to simplify it as much as possible, and included my Dad in the conversation knowing that he has a better understanding of what was being discussed. Because I was a first time buyer, I had hoped that they would have thrown in some extra perks that I have heard of other dealerships doing (i.e., complimentary fabric protection, or a gas card, etc.), to make the deal more appealing given the price of the vehicle.
