I did not have an appointment but the jeep needed service. After waiting 2 1/2 hours till they could look at it they said there were no codes, not to say there was anything wrong with it, there just wasn't anything showing any codes. After explaining to them that they would have to drive it for some time till the service transmission light would come on the advisor said that the mechanic had the transmission warm enough and there were no problems come up. they were ordering a module for it but it was not coming in until the next day so they sent me on my way reassuring me that it was ok to drive back home which was a twenty minute drive, and I asked the advisor if it was safe to drive home and she said that the mechanic said it was ok to drive home. Just before I had arrived at home the transmission service signal had come on and when that happens it puts the transmission in limp mode so you can make it home. this means that its stuck in 6th gear and there is no power at all. Attempting to cross a busy highway I try and cross and not knowing that there is no power a transport is knocking on my drivers door. After just making it across at a snails pace I'm furious and pull over and call the service manager. After blasting him and telling him what just happened he said to bring it back and they would get me a loaner vehicle. The service advisor told me they did not have a loaner vehicle to give me or a rental the first time I was there. Miraculously they had found a loaner vehicle and so I was on my way back with my limp jeep. This is when I discovered if I came to a stop sign and I needed to get it back in first gear was to put it in park and back in drive again. After the jeep was fixed I came to pick it up and I dropped the loaner off, and to top it all off and all the bull that I put up with I find my jeep is on empty. The reason we returned to buy the new vehicle was because of the excellent treatment we receive from the service department (Darcy and associates) and the salesman, Bill Locker. We would normally check out prices and options at several dealers but since buying the Journey, we felt we didn't need to go anywhere else when we decided to buy another vehicle. We don't think we could have done any better and are pleased with the deal and extremely pleased with both the Journey and the Grand Caravan. More

Eichenburg sales person, Charlie Sofalvi was very helpful and patient when we didn't understand how the calculations worked. When he didn't know the answer he sought it out. It's also nice to see the owner of the dealership being so visible. In 5-6 visits to the dealership there was only one time that I did not see Dave Moore.
