This place is scam. They never tell you the truth about the car arrival. And will never give you your deposit back. Very unprofessional place. I had gone to eastside kia second week of september 2023. I wanted the Kia Sportage xline limited. They told me they had one coming end of september and they could even fast track it to September 22. They said I needed to put a deposit to get a chance for it even before my credit for checked for financing as the car sells even before it arrives. My biggest mistake was putting that deposit down. September 20 I had a huge family incident happen that requires me to go to my home country for a long period of time to deal with the issue. I talked to the dealership and sales consultant Biraj Gajera about the issue to get my deposit back before september 24 as that was the day of my flight. He said the sales manager and general manager will need to discuss this. I was even called down there on the September 23 to talk about it but Sonny Poce (sales manager) nor Kelly Temple (general manager) refused to talk to me. If the car had arrived that day I would have taken it. Since the car hadn't arrive and I was leaving the country for 1 year + i asked for the deposit back. They said they still need to further discuss with accounting. I had given my friends contact so he could go pick up the deposit after I was gone. They called him down to the dealership specially just to tell him they won't give it back. They are willing to wait till I am back. This makes me think they just wanted to pocket the $1000 for themselves. They are the most inconsiderate and unprofessional dealership I have dealt with. If they do not give my deposit back and the exact car with exact same vin is not there I will be filing a lawsuit for unlawfully holding deposit for a car they sold. If the GM or sales manager does read this think deep in this situation was it worth not giving my deposit back, it was given as I was told the car sells too fast and I asked for the deposit back due to an unforseen serious event. Sales negotiation and questions regarding items on the documents were all fully explained. Pickup of the vehicle went very well, it was nicely detailed, the vehicle features were shown inside and out and salesperson gave instruction and assistance with personal set up of the vehicle and an account with Kia Connect. All of our questions were well answered. Follow up phone all from Prab was made the next day. Excellent communication throughout the sale process with Prab, who has excellent product knowledge, as well as Finance Mgr., Louie Fedora and also want to mention the receptionist who was very pleasant! My husband and I had a very good experience with the purchase of our Niro EV. More
