Bad Outweigh The Good Overall experience was not one I expected the first time buying a new car on my own. We went into the dealership wanting to look at a 2018 Jeep Compas Overall experience was not one I expected the first time buying a new car on my own. We went into the dealership wanting to look at a 2018 Jeep Compass. Dee was very helpful and polite, willing to show us any vehicle we wanted to see and would do what he could to make a deal. We looked at a white one and it had everything I would want in it however I'd like it in black. Dee continued to promise it would be THAT vehicle except in black that would be delivered in. They even offered to pay to powder-coat my rims black since the model didn't come with the black rims and waive the delivery fee. The vehicle came in a lot later than they had said, by at least a week. Matt was very helpful in keeping me updated on the delivery however I'm not sure how much Matt and Dee communicated back and forth because I continuously got different updates from both of them. Once the car came in, I picked it up and Dee showed me the car. He seemed like he didn't know the options and didn't show me too much. Kept asking what I wanted to see but I was unsure of what he could show me. I was really excited for it and when driving home I noticed some options were not there that should have been, it looked different and just didn't feel like the car I initially agreed to purchase. Right away I noticed it was missing the navigation although I had said many times this was something I absolutely required. I immediately texted Dee as I didn't want to continue driving this car when it wasn't the right one and he told me that the 2018's don't come with nav.... Through conversation he was offering me things such as an external nav or free oil changes. Which was frustrating because I was given a vehicle I never signed for. Not to mention the vehicle I traded in had nav. One of the many things it missing that I had agreed to. Dee was not helpful, he kept saying they don't come with nav and its impossible to get it with nav and basically was saying I was out of luck. I demanded getting the vehicle I agreed to or my old vehicle back. The next day, I called the dealership to speak with Matt. It took all day to get a hold of him, to the point that I was calling every half hour. My messages seemed to be undelivered to him and that it wasn't important. Once I got in contact with Matt, he was understanding and listened to my side of the story. He took in all the information and said he had to talk to his manager and come up with a plan and that I should come in the next day. This made me feel better in the whole process. The next day when I went in, we sat down and he told me the plan. We went over the whole process from when I walked in the door of the dealership wanting to look at cars to the point that I realized it wasn't the car I originally wanted. He was very helpful - noticeable annoyed by it - but very helpful. In the end, we figured out that Dee didn't follow proper protocol, and once again didn't show me all the options. In conversation, I had asked why it didn't have steering wheel audio controls and Matt gave me a weird look and said it has them and I said no it doesn't, but it was right there listed on the paper. Matt had to come to the car and show me that they were behind the steering wheel and not in front anymore. There was things he didn't do and papers that I didn't sign agreeing to the vehicle before delivery was planned. The plan benefitted me greatly and he ended up finding the car I had agreed to in the color that I wanted and was a lot closer as it was in Brandon! So the car was coming and it was all dealt with. Once the car was in, the rims were supposed to be switched over in service and then I can pick it up. Another issue.... Matt had called me and let me know that they ended up selling the vehicle with my rims so they had to send out my car again to get the rims powder-coated, I picked up the vehicle and Matt said he would be in touch with me on when to drop off the car. A week later I still hadn't heard from him so once again I was resorted to calling and calling and calling as he wouldn't return my calls and that it seemed messages were undeliverable to him. Finally I got in contact with him (as I kept calling) and I was able to drop off my car the next day with Dylan. Dylan had called me and told me the process. He said he would keep me up to date with when the car would be ready and that the car will be ready within 3-4 days. Well 3-4 days later, I still haven't heard from Dylan so I called to find out and he said the rims will be back the next day and it'll be ready to pick up at the end of day so I asked him what time they closed and he said 5:30 so I told him I would be there around 5 to pick it up. The next day I arranged with work (as I work downtown) to be able to drive my rental vehicle and park so I can leave from work to get my car. Everything was arranged and I got to the dealership the next day to pick it up and they had no idea what I was talking about. Once they found out, they said the rims are not back, my vehicle isn't ready and that they're not sure who told me my car would be ready.... After a month of dealing with this dealership and issue after issue after issue, I finally have my car. There was good and bad moments, however I did not anticipate to be so many issues where the bad outweigh the good. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this dealership however I would recommend Matt any day as his customer service skills are amazing and he worked to do what he could in the best interest of the customer and the dealership. More

Have been dealing with the service/body shop end of Eastern Chrysler for many years now, but this was our first experience dealing with the sales side Have been dealing with the service/body shop end of Eastern Chrysler for many years now, but this was our first experience dealing with the sales side of things. The experience was fantastic!! From the first day when I met Paul and wasn’t even sure I wanted a new vehicle, to when he made a date with my husband over the phone to come down and have a look at one, he was so fun to deal with. We sent him a wish list and he delivered (with even more options!) He made the whole experience enjoyable and relaxing, with lots of laughs. He knew we really wanted a Journey and worked on the numbers with us until we came to an agreement that made us happy. He even got my Ford-loving husband a Dodge hat that he is proudly wearing!! Lol Ian in finance was a blast to deal with. He answered all of our questions and was very straightforward with us about what we needed or really didn’t need. The two of them make a great team and we would recommend to anyone to go see them when buying a new vehicle. While we did not deal directly with Andre, he made each visit to the dealership so much fun. Very friendly with such a great sense of humour, we had a great time with him and would definitely recommend this snazzy dresser!! Thank you to Matt and Antoney for all of your “behind the scenes” contributions as well! Mike was great to deal with because he's very approachable, easy to talk to, and extremely helpful. He didn't push, and really listened to what we wanted. He even went to Brandon to pick up our new Renegade for us! Talk about service! THANKS MIKE! Andre was amazing! He was motivated to sell, and gave us such a great deal that we just had to say yes. You just have to smile when talking with him because he makes it so easy. THANKS ANDRE! Sadly, I called the other dealership and told them we had found what we wanted, so we would not be getting a new vehicle from them. They cried. Ian was so great and a genuine pleasure to talk to. He explained everything fully and answered all questions. We were very happy with his thoroughness in presenting all the options available to us and felt comfortable that we understood all the terms and the warranties. THANKS IAN! This has been the absolute best experience we have ever had buying a vehicle. Besides the exceptional deal we got, what really impressed us was the overall positive attitude of every team member and their willingness to help and accommodate us. Management must be excellent to create such a positive atmosphere in a workplace. We can't wait to tell everyone how awesome the team at Eastern Chrysler has been, and recommend them to all our friends, family, and even random strangers we meet (seriously!). More
Totally rip you off and over charge Billed for unapproved service work. They took our truck in and did service without prior approval. We brought a truck in for diagnosis of an emissions issue that the service rep had said was covered. We have been charged $612 for a repair that is clearly covered under the vehicles emissions warranty according to the trucks ownership manual. Liars, cheats, and thieves. More
