For the past 6 months, our family has been entertaining the thought of buying a truck, with no previous experience or real knowledge of the many makes and models we found ourselves wandering from dealership to dealership "kicking tires" and speaking with sales people. Every dealership visit ended with the same outcome, more questions than answers and that feeling of being "pushed" into buying something right away. When we decided to visit Eastern in July (14) we were immediately greeted by a very friendly and enthusiastic salesman named Rod (Bell). Right from the get go Rod ensured my wife and I that he would indeed do his best to find us the right vehicle to suit our families needs. After showing us many vehicles and options , both my wife and I were satisfied that we had found what we were looking for. Ultimately we decided to not purchase at that time due to financial reasons and decided we would re-visit the situation at a later time. Six months later we placed a call to Rod, who not only remembered my wife and I but also remembered that we had a small son. It was a comforting feeling to know that he remembered us and that he was still aware of what we were looking for and what our payment expectations were. We set up an appointment with Rod and upon entering the dealership we were immediately greeted by an enthusiastic Rod and the new used sales manager, Andre. They both spend the next 4 hours bending over backwards to ensure that we were happy and that our needs were met. We ended up purchasing a truck from Rod and we were scheduled to pick it up a couple of days later. As it turned out one of the accessories that was to be installed was not in stock and again Rod and the sales managers made sure that it was on the truck when we arrived, even though it ment that employees in the service department had to stay late. We had a great experience at Eastern and we would highly recommend Rod as your salesman. We will be back to purchase another vehicle from Rod in the future. More

Very Accomodating Experience I started shopping for a truck another Winnipeg Dodge dealer that I was less than happy with. I wanted the vehicle I wanted. My father in law (G. Matwichuk) suggested that I might call Eastern Chrysler because he and his family deals with them and have been quite happy over the years. So I called them up and spoke with Rod Bell who was so honest and friendly on the phone I decided to drive clear across Winnipeg that evening to speak in persons. Once I wast there I was informed and helped by Rod and various sales managers including Jason McLean. While looking at different vehicles my 6 year old daughter was not left out of the loop. Rod was attentive to our family's wants and needs. Impressive. After making a fair deal we came back the next day for delivery and Dorothy was very nice and helpful.
