As soon as they get your money, they don't care about you. I got an email from the dealership congratulating me on my one year anniversary, they wanted to know how everything was going, if I had any questions, I got an email from the dealership congratulating me on my one year anniversary, they wanted to know how everything was going, if I had any questions, and if I wanted to refer any family or friends. Here's what I wrote back. (still no response from them)..... HI Tony, Here's my experience with Eagle Ridge GM, - I went to the dealership on a Sunday and purchased a 2007 Pontiac G5 from a salesman named Mac (i think his last name was McKinnon) - I told him I had 6500 dollars to spend, all said and done it cost around 8100 dollars. - The car had yet to be detailed, so he asked if I could bring it back the next day and they would detail it for me, and they would have a loaner waiting for me. - The car also had to go through air-care and I said I would be happy to take it to air-care before I brought it back to be detailed - Mac gave me a voucher to pay for the air-care but it wasn't enough. It cost me and additional 12 or 14 dollars - When I did get back to the dealership, they were scrambling to find me a loaner, I thought to myself, it hasn't been 24 hours and they've already forgotten about me - While they were trying to find a loaner for me, it was discovered that they couldn't let me keep the car because it was subject to the ignition recall - They offer me a 2008 G5 as a straight trade,I took it for a test drive and mentioned to Mac a noise that would happen when driving over a bumpy road - He also heard it and said it was probably the suspension getting old, and I agreed - I was to pick up the car the next day, and was a disappointed to see it had less than half a tank of gas - After putting around 200 km on the car, I realized the noise was coming from the steering column and could be felt in the steering wheel - I arranged to have one of your mechanics take it on a road test, and before he even got in the car, he told me he knew that it was a problem with the steering (something about the gears) and they would fix it when they did the work on the ignition - Months went by and I haven't heard anything so I called the service department to find out when they could do the work and to also make sure they had a record of the steering problem - I was told they don't keep records of the road tests and they had no record of any steering problem - When I did bring it in to get the ignition done I was told that all the G5's have this steering issue, and they wouldn't do anything about it, and even if they did replace the faulty parts, it would eventually end up doing the same thing A friend of mine has the same car and has never even heard of this problem, I've also asked strangers who have the same car if they have ever heard of this, and have yet to find one person who has ever heard of this issue that affects "all" G5's. Needless to say my experience with Eagle Ridge GM has been horrible, and I tell anyone who will listen about it. What I will say, is I know for a fact that I have talked at least 2 people out of buying a car from your dealership (one used car and one new car). Please pass this message along to the nice folks at wecare@eagleridgegm.com who sent me a nice e-card for my birthday. More

Was looking at buying a 10 year old Nissan they claimed had major repairs completed, but had no documentation to prove it. No information on warranty length, what it would cover, deductibles, where it could be serviced, actual work completed or when. Refused to get this information and told me to just trust him, because "he wouldn't lie to me". Sales manager frequently cut me off mid sentence, refused to hear what I had to say and elevated the discussion into a shouting match in front of other customers and family. If you are buying a used car they make you use a smelly old decrepit building that looks abandoned and scares children. Even though their used cars are priced $15 - $20,000 I guess thats not good enough to let you into the "nice" dealership with all the "rich" people. More
Worst Experience Ever Worst experience with a dealership in my life. Was refused the opportunity to buy the truck I wanted just because I requested a third party inspection Worst experience with a dealership in my life. Was refused the opportunity to buy the truck I wanted just because I requested a third party inspection. Went in on a Saturday, but they wouldn't negotiate the price with me to fit my budget (cash purchase) so I left without leaving a deposit. Thought about it that night and went back Sunday morning with a higher offer only to find out the truck had another interested buyer who had left a deposit. I was allowed to make an offer, which I thought they had accepted as I was asked to initial some paperwork, and then I left a deposit. Later that day I received a call from the manager, Bryan Habermann, telling me the first deal didn't go through and the truck was available, but I couldn't buy it because his boss didn't like my offer. I don't even believe there was another deal in place - I think they were leading me on, trying to force me to match the imaginary "first buyer"s offer. Instead of saying sorry and asking if I wanted to come and talk about it some more, he simply said "come get your deposit refunded", end of story. I was extremely disappointed. I went in there and asked for a copy of the document I had signed that morning. I also asked to speak to Bryan's boss, and Bryan's response to that was "I am the boss". Wow, buddy. He then admitted that his boss wasn't in and he had been communicating with him by text message. Again, wow. Bryan had told me in the morning when I signed the document that he had phoned his boss, leading me to believe my offer was accepted, but then they turned around and declined it. Bryan left to get the document but never came back. While waiting I spoke with the salesman, Charlie, nice guy, who said he wanted to make this work for me but he has virtually no power (what is the point of salesmen when they can't actually do anything for you??). Bryan eventually comes back and says "the truck is yours, let's do this" except I had been denied opportunities to test drive the vehicle on Saturday and Sunday because it was "getting washed" or whatever other crap excuses they had. So my response to Bryan was "whoa, I haven't even driven this thing yet, plus I said I wanted to do a third party inspection." Bryan said no way, no third party inspection (this is a 10 year old truck I am looking at buying) and he said the deal is off if I want it inspected and forced me to take a refund on my deposit. He then walked away and never spoke to me again. Rudest person I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with in my life. If they won't let me get the vehicle inspected, or even drive the xxxx thing, then they clearly have something to hide. I am extremely disappointed that I wasn't given the opportunity to buy this truck, as it was the perfect vehicle, exactly what I was looking for, and looked clean so I was confident it would pass the inspection, but as it is 10 years old, I need to cover myself - I was buying a Nissan from a Chevy dealership - Chevy certified mechanics likely don't know anything about this Nissan truck, so I was going to get it inspected by a Nissan certified mechanic (something I was going to pay for myself). I was 110% interested and ready to buy, subject to this one inspection, and of course my right to a test drive, both of which I was denied despite several requests. Charlie vouched for the fact that I had requested an inspection and they had agreed to it, but Bryan overrode him and said no. I've never felt more disrespected in my life. This place clearly doesn't care at all about making sales or moving vehicles. Words can't even describe the level of my disappointment in the complete lack of service I received here. P.S. You can bet I will be filing a complaint with MVSA BC. Denying me the opportunity to test drive or inspect a used vehicle is not something any sales-driven or honorable dealership would do. Disgusted. More
Try too hard to be your best friend-- bordering ridiculous In negotiation gave starting price for a model that offered more options than the one offered right from the start. After getting their offer we went In negotiation gave starting price for a model that offered more options than the one offered right from the start. After getting their offer we went to think about it over lunch and already knew we could get a far better deal. "Already, genuinely, at our lowest." Mmm hmmm ... Many dealers have shaken the "typical, silly" salesperson persona, not these guys. Called us back to see if we got a car at another dealer, to say they have good news!, and one more time. We had a family emergency so didn't call back right away. They left messages all these times and when we called back, the call wouldn't go through. We checked the business card and # he left, it was correct. DID HE REALLY BLOCK OUR NUMBER??!!! We called back through the switchboard and left a message anyway. We got a far better deal, with more options too, elsewhere from a real professional. There was also a big cloud of sales guys hovering out front whenever we arrived, hate that, and not friendly when we walked by either. Feels like a low rate, sleezy dealership. More

The Spot Delivery becomes a scam when, a dealer tells you that your approved for a car loan at a certain interest rate and term and they absolutely know upfront, there is NO WAY you will qualify for the ca that your approved for a car loan at a certain interest rate and term and they absolutely know upfront, there is NO WAY you will qualify for the car loan as written. The dealer has you sign all the papers and take delivery of the vehicle, meanwhile knowing they will call you back in the future telling you, "You're financing fell through", and try to force you to put more money down or buy the car for a longer term or higher interest rate. Since the dealer let you take the car prematurely, this will take you off the market and allow you to fall in love with the vehicle. Believing you just bought a car, you will, of course, show it off to your friends and family. The dealer will use this emotional attachment of your new car to their advantage when they call you back at a later date and tell you, "Your financing fell through". This is when they'll start to work you for more money or try to sign you for a longer term or higher interest rate if you want to keep the car. Don't let this happen to you!! It happened to us at Eagle Ridge just this week. More
Went to Eagle Ridge to buy my First Car. They stated it was an American Car, which was true, but what they told me was that it was only 115,000 Km's. Really it was 115,000 Miles. Equals to about 180,000 Km was an American Car, which was true, but what they told me was that it was only 115,000 Km's. Really it was 115,000 Miles. Equals to about 180,000 Km's. So when i found out, i took it back, they told me after driving out there that i would have to wait atleast 3 days, until we could even talk about, and also that they wont be able to give my money back, but only an exchange, and with their highly overpriced cars on the lot, im going to have to settle with a car nowhere near what i could get somewhere else. I wasn't looking forward to buying a new van. My last experience (at a different dealership) was horrible. But my current vehicle was no longer drive-able and I had no choice. I went to Eagle Ridge bec experience (at a different dealership) was horrible. But my current vehicle was no longer drive-able and I had no choice. I went to Eagle Ridge because I had been taking my previous van to their service department and had always been happy with them. From the moment I set foot at that dealership to the time i left as a happy new van owner, I was impressed. I felt welcomed and valued from the beginning. Alladean did everything he could to help me pick the right vehicle. He didn't mind test driving more than one. He walked me around each vehicle to make sure I knew exactly what condition it was in. (I was looking at used). He was patient with my lively 2-year-old. He even brought her cookies. And by the way they have a nice little play room for the kids. Once I decided which vehicle I wanted, I met Pat, the manager. He was friendly, respectful and explained everything about the price. The trade-in value I got on my old van was fair, the price on my new van was fair, I didn't feel like I had to haggle or feel ripped off. The business managers were easy to talk to, listened to me, worked hard to get me what I asked for, and they were friendly (most business managers are A-holes). It truly was a pleasure buying my used van at Eagle Ridge. It was the first time I have ever felt respected while buying a car. More
Trying to shove cars down your throat and did not not understand the concept of just looking and then I notice something all their trucks have high rust on them which can only mean one thing Alberta. upo understand the concept of just looking and then I notice something all their trucks have high rust on them which can only mean one thing Alberta. upon further investigation i found that all there trucks were either from the interior or Alberta and they denied all these claims but the Car proof reports tell all. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER More
I am a big shopper and like everyone else appreciate the best deal possible. I do extensive research. I had found a slightly better deal on a new GMC truck in Richmond, but would have prefered to do busin best deal possible. I do extensive research. I had found a slightly better deal on a new GMC truck in Richmond, but would have prefered to do business with Eagle Ridge. For just the little bit of difference in price, I was disappointed that the sales manager, Adam Isfeld would not budge. Was it worth lossing a sale over a few dollars? More
