Love my new Compass Dropped in to check out the '07 Jeep Patriot I saw advertised in the local paper, it ended up being sold days before. Shawn York asked some good quest Dropped in to check out the '07 Jeep Patriot I saw advertised in the local paper, it ended up being sold days before. Shawn York asked some good questions as to what kind of vehicle I think I would need, and how i would drive and where. Told him I was looking for a SUV, that maybe would have AWD or 4X4 and was good on gas. as I like fishing and camping and basically would be driving many klicks into the bush along logging roads. Plus just going on normal road trips with a full load of people on board. Shawn ended driving up in a '13 Jeep Compass and we went on a test drive. It seemed to handle the hills alot better than my '98 Honda CR-V. Then again my Honda was old, had 365,000 klicks on the clock and was a 2.0L with 165 HP compared to the Compass 2.4L with 172 HP and a mere 41,000 km. Said I liked it, and then Shawn hauled me into see Mr. Bobby "Finance BC" Esma. (Strange middle name, but yeah...ok.) where I told them I may have problems getting financing as my bank would not give me a loan. Asked why? I told them about the infamous Richard Buck and how he screwed me over back in 2011. All Shawn and Bobby said was "ah, yes. We know about that guy" Long story short, Bobby was able to get me financing for the Jeep and and I'm on my way to even better credit. He also got me quite a good deal on my Jeep and pretty good bi-weekly payments. I ended buying them both a coffee as the deserved it for doing a job well done! More
