Had to replace my 2006 (which was always taken care of in such great attention by Loretta & her team) with a new 2014 Jetta and the purchase experience with James & Julia was great. I was led to the Dealer from a colleague who made a purchase here and it started with a phone call, Peter Notis took the time to explain in detail any and all questions I had with the purchase. For any purchase here and it started with a phone call, Peter Notis took the time to explain in detail any and all questions I had with the purchase. For any questions that Peter was not a 100% sure on the answer he acknowledged this with me and took the time to resource the answer so the response was correct. There was no pressure throughout the whole process, Peter made me feel welcome without me feeling awkward as many Dealerships that I have visited profiled me as soon as I walked in the door. Thank you Peter. More

Nor did I have follow up by my service advisor Loretta Cain as to the outcome of this experience. Maybe my idea of customer service is a different one . By the lack of response and follow up , it would seem that this is your version of customer non service . I have been a customer for 14 years and am so disappointed in the customer service , it is hard to begin, to again attempt to reach someone , but this was bad enough in it's inconvenience to me and total lack of concern on your part, that I must relate it again . I brought my Golf in for ongoing severe ice buildup on the inside windows . The solution, to replace a fan was unsuccessful as the car was frozen still when I came to pick it up . I was already late as the driver took 2 hours to pick me up ( no other calls were in front of me, I was told ) I was already late for work . The car was left for further examination and the result this time? Well, I was told that I should brush snow off my feet when entering my car as this was causing moisture inside . You have got to be joking! By the way, I could have demonstrated how I enter my car on a snowy day and that theory would have looked more ridiculous. I was also asked if I had a garage. Maybe VW should consider this in their next add campaign." Garage included to keep your car warm and dry because we can't think of any other reasno that your car would be frozen solid on the inside whenever the temperature is below zero". Now, I am satirizing a bit here, only to maintain my sanity over this frustration . You see, the frustration goes way beyond the obvious, that is, the ongoing moisture buildup problem. It encompasses the rediculous comments that are presented to customers,( dare I say female customers?) as an excuse for the inabilty to offer any valid reasons for such issues. Comments of the nature I have mentioned go way beyond poor customer service. They are an insult to a long time car driver with even a minimal understanding of cars. The fact that no one bothered to follow up on my first comment to Mr Martan only serves to demonstrate that Don Valley Volswagen must be so busy advertising it's happy customers that it doesn't need to bother with the" complainers " in the lot. I was provided with a loner in the form of a KIA. Odd, that VW doesn't provide it's own product for this purpose. But, I have to thank you for one positive outcome. That KIA looks better and better, especially with my lease up this year. Nancy L. Sutherland Toronto Ontario More
My 2003 Jetta was in an accident on a Friday morning. Later that day I called Loretta @ DV VW to tell her what had happened and that I would like to know who I should speak to re: buying another VW. She Later that day I called Loretta @ DV VW to tell her what had happened and that I would like to know who I should speak to re: buying another VW. She had James give me a call, so the next day I went to the dealership to see him, test drove a Jetta and Golf, and later that day decided to put down a deposit on a Jetta brought in a trade. I had to wait until the insurance company confirmed my car was a write-off (due to the high number of accidents this took about 7 days so DV VW was very patient with me) and then proceeded with the Jetta purchase. A few days before picking up the car, I asked Loretta if there was still time to purchase and install a new set of winter tires. She was able to have it all done before I arrived at the dealership! When I arrived at the dealership to pick up the car, the process went very smooth, from James putting the final touches on the sale to Steven Kroone, the business mgr finishing the MTO paperwork to Will Davey in service making sure the car was set up with winter tires and overall detailed. Thanks to such a great team of professionals that took a stressful situation and made it easy for me! I have been a customer at DV VW for 11 years and I plan to keep that going well into the future! On delivery day (Thursday Feb 6, 2014)) I found minor issues with the car detailing, however after reviewing the paper work and when starting the car the MIL engine light was on and another engine LID WARNING also was flushing :-( although the safety and inspection report which I have reviewed within the paper work states that all MIL lid indicators are off and nothing wrong with the car. The Mangement said they will take care of that It took me almost four hours the receive the car, I was frustrated and my kids were waiting to picked up from school with the new car which did not happen due to the dealership mistake and the kids walk home really sad and frustrated in freezing weather I did ask to be combusted for my time and the overall inconvenience and the dealership insulted me and my wife by offering us a cheap coffe mug in a very old dusty box The sales person James is a great person, he was the only positive experience I had More

Visited after finding listing for a passat on auto trader. When I got there, they directed me right towards James and he was a very nice gentleman. Knowledgeable about the car, friendly, and gave me a good price for the type of vehicle. However, I recently took it in for service which was covered under the 30 day guarantee. On top of the steering problem and windsheild wiper problem, service said one of my calipers was leaking. I don't understand why I would be sold a car that has this many problems......and they didn't properly fix my windshield wiper problem. Other than that, it is actually a good dealership and I recommend it to everyone! More

Leasing a car from Don Valley Volkswagen was a fantastic and painless experience. We knew what we wanted and never felt pressured into anything we didn't feel comfortable with. We delt with Chloe Simpson wh and painless experience. We knew what we wanted and never felt pressured into anything we didn't feel comfortable with. We delt with Chloe Simpson who was simply wonderful. She was honest, trustworthy and very open to questions and was very knowledgeable. She puts her customers first and that was apparent as soon as we walked in the door. When we picked up the car, she went through every button and dial and is open to any questions via text, phone and email. This is a dealership who isn't looking to scam or take your money or trick you into what you don't want or need. If you are looking to for a Volkswagen in Toronto, this is the place to go. Steve More
