lies, lies and more lies Bought my diesel wagon because they claimed it was a good environmental choice and could tow my boat... Turns out they lied to me about both and then told me if i got a trailer hitch installed like they told me they would do for me - I'd loose all my warranty... Summer Tires will be fine for another year when they take they off and then when I went back in the spring to get them put on apparently they were well past needing to be replaced... can't trust what they say... get it in writing! I had been worried about whether renewing my lease would be a complex deal re returning the previous car, etc., and more expensive than I would prefer, but they made it easy and I'm convinced this is the way to go. Syrxus patiently ran the numbers for a bunch of options for me but did not use my curiosity to try to sell me up to a more expensive option, which was appreciated, and he was especially helpful and clear about showing me the ins and outs of the tech in the car, as I am a bit of a technophobe. Richard Yeung (service) was also quite personable and helpful with moving my snow tires from the lease return to the new vehicle. Even though they apparently had to repair a puncture in one of the snows, that whole process was surprisingly quick. Thanks, all. More

Visit resulted in my car needing new repairs and missing cap Took my 2006 Jetta for some exhaust work to DV VW. My key fobs no longer worked after the repair (not the batteries but the unit in the vehicle ) the heat setting in the car makes a loud noise and one of my hubcaps was missing This isn't the first time is has happened. I told the service dept that my cap was missing and was told that the service tech claimed that my car arrived without the one hubcap which is false. So it's possible that the cap was stolen from my car while on the lot waiting for the repair but I believe that when a dealership is in possession of your car they are responsible for your car. They refuse to acknowledge any of my requests for a replacement cap. So I can't prove that anyone caused thes new problems with my car intentionally but I will not be using Don Valley VW services again. It's possible that all these new breakdowns happen uninitentionally as a result of a previous repair, hammering, banging etc but this speaks to quality of a car if it's that sensitive. Never again Don Valley Never again VW See ya More

Great dealership! I was in the market for a vehicle and gave Don Valley Volkswagon a shot. I walked into the dealer and met with Harry. He introduced me to 3 different I was in the market for a vehicle and gave Don Valley Volkswagon a shot. I walked into the dealer and met with Harry. He introduced me to 3 different vehicles and told me upfront to go home and sleep on it and the next time I come to bring the wife along. So that's what I did and returned 4 days later. When we returned he showed us another 2 vehicles and said to take our time and compare all vehicles but never showed signs of forcefully selling us vehicles. He was very professional and never felt like I was dealing with a salesman. It felt like he was more of a friend than a salesman. On that same day my wife decided to purchase her new 2013 volkswagon jetta highline. Harry's knowledge and honesty was greatly appreciated. I will definitely return to Harry one day to purchase another vehicle and will suggest other people in the market for a vehicle to give Harry a visit! He is Awesome!!! More

Clueless mechanic, expensive I brought my VW in for a minor issue, but the tech spent hours trying to troubleshoot, then justified the lack of experience by replacing just about e I brought my VW in for a minor issue, but the tech spent hours trying to troubleshoot, then justified the lack of experience by replacing just about everything remotely connected to the problem. Ridiculous, expensive and unnecessary. I bring it to the dealer for expertise, quality and experience, not amateurs replacing everything because they can not figure out what is wrong. Go somewhere else if you want good service. More
