I have been searching for a used car, for a long time, and finally I got my ideal deal at Don Valley Volkswagen. Abbas the sales person made sure that the car meets my requirements and then followed it up and finally I got my ideal deal at Don Valley Volkswagen. Abbas the sales person made sure that the car meets my requirements and then followed it up through the management and the service department until it was delivered to me. The delivery took a while but when I realized that they are taking care of all possible technical issues, changing a lot of parts to make sure that the car delivered to me is safe and in excellent condition, I was even more happy. The service department was also very helpful, In a follow up visit that I had George and Maxi were very kind and knowledgeable. Overall, this automobile dealership exceeded my expectations with their excellent selection, knowledgeable staff, and outstanding customer service. I would like to thank Abbas for his professional and kind treatment as a sales person and highly recommend them for anyone in search of a reliable and professional dealership experience. More
The current team has awful customer service. It's as if they don't want to put in any effort to have your business. They have no follow through or care. They have made leasing a new vehicle a horrendous experience. I understand stock is low, but they gave me no support and assurance that I could retain my vehicle while I wait to see what options I would have for the following manufacturing year. The service admin staff have been great over the years, it's a shame the sales staff are so negligent. More
I wouldn't recommend this dealership from my experience, I booked for a new Volkwagen Tiguan Highine R-Line on Feb 11th, 2022 from Sales Rep Xi Yu with an expected delivery date as 28th Feb, 2022 but when I booked for a new Volkwagen Tiguan Highine R-Line on Feb 11th, 2022 from Sales Rep Xi Yu with an expected delivery date as 28th Feb, 2022 but whenever i enquired about my vehicle they used to say they would deliver me the vehicle in their next week's allocation but never gave me VIN number for my vehicle. when i again walked into their dealership for an ETA, Sales Manager Daryll Kessel said they are not responsible for the ETA given by Sales representative but again promised some good news in a week or so but never heard back from them. This is when i thought start my conversations via e-mail it was too late by then, they never gave me the vehicle that i want nor gave my any other alternatives even though i asked for options for me, they also rejected my request to give me a loaner vehicle until i get my new vehicle, i did mention that i would need some vehicle to take my son for therapies but they just ignored any of my requests even though it was not my fault in any way . After losing all hopes, i also reached out to their General Sales Manager on Mr. Darren Adam but he was asking for 6 to 8 weeks from May 10th which made me to pull out of the deal as it wouldn't help me in any way as i can't wait another 2 months with no guarantee with my vehicle delivery but had to undergo lot of stress in searching another one running to all dealerships with present inventory situation. Hopefully you may have good experience but my only suggestion you guys would be to ask for alternatives in writing before signing the deal with this dealership in case they don't deliver the vehicle by given ETA. With such a low rating, I feel it necessary to explain. I started the relationship about 9 years ago, when I moved to the city. I am speaking from experience when I say that, over the last four years, the overall customer service has gone downhill. Prices seem to have continually increased, and the general attitude both from sales and service is one where it seems like they couldn't care less whether or not you are a customer. Yes, there are a couple of employees who still seem to care (in the service department) but overall, I've had better encounters at a convenience store spending $2 than this dealership where I spent thousands. If you want a VW vehicle, I don't blame you - I've owned three over the past 15 years - but buy it from anywhere else. I can confidently state that you will get better customer service elsewhere. If you want to be ignored after they receive your business - this place is for you! Everyone was so kind and friendly during the financing process, but after they locked in our money, it was a tot business - this place is for you! Everyone was so kind and friendly during the financing process, but after they locked in our money, it was a total 180. When we picked up our car, we only received one set of keys. We were reassured that the extra set of keys would come in soon, but it took almost two months for the sales person we were dealing with (John) to get back to us to let us know the keys came in. He told us to book a slot with Service to coordinate the keys but after literally a dozen tries, we were unable to get through. We even tried calling and emailing John ourselves, but did not even receive one reply or call back. Instead, my husband had to book a slot online. That appointment happened to be today, so we went in. Little did we know that the process would take an hour and a half (something that could have been communicated if anyone had bothered to answer the phone or call us back), and since we were with our toddler, this was not possible at that time. He made an appointment for later on this afternoon and he went in himself. After waiting for an entire hour, they finally notified him that their system wasn’t working to set up the keys. Why wasn’t this information relayed in the first place?! They then asked him to COME BACK to do it all over again - which is absurd especially during a pandemic. We don’t live in the area and went out of our way (my husband even booked off work for this) to get this extra key programmed - something that should have been done in the first place. And the fact that we have to come back a THIRD time is just unacceptable - but what else can we do?! Over all, super disappointed with how this all turned out. They really try and butter you up when they need your business, but after that, you’re totally on your own. Save your time and money and lease/purchase elsewhere, where the staff will actually value your time. More
