The Salesrep Viggy was professional and helpful, he asked for my credit card, wrote down my counter-offer and went to his sales manager JASON FERNANDEZ to get “numbers.” We were a couple thousand apart on the price, with a trade-in involved and with some flexibility on both sides, we could’ve easily covered that difference. I was prepared to continue shopping but he, the sales manager, continued to negotiate and when he asked, I showed them comparable listings that were priced lower, the sales manager immediately started dismissing and criticizing them, some of which were valid points on his end, nonetheless when I said I would look at those vehicles and come back if they weren’t comparable, his attitude completely changed. He snapped, immediately became angry, disrespectful, condescending, and told me I had “no rationale” and “no idea what I was talking about”and passed sarcastic remarks including“I will take that as a lesson” after I pointed out that was no way to speak to anyone, let alone a customer. Completely unacceptable and uncalled for, I really intended to buy that car, the sole reason I walked away from that deal was his behaviour and how unhinged he had became raising his voice in the office making smartass sarcastic comments. A manager, who’s supposed to lead by example, I was angry beyond words but I walked out before I would regret my actions. He should consider himself lucky he could walk back to his cubicle. Volkswagen Canada sent me a letter for a $250 credit to purchase parts, this credit was in return of our time to go do a recall that’s requested by VW Canada. I bought my car from this dealership and sent purchase parts, this credit was in return of our time to go do a recall that’s requested by VW Canada. I bought my car from this dealership and sent my son there to use the letter to buy parts, after the recall fix was complete. They rejected the soft copy of the letter and said they wanted the “original” in order to give us the $250 in free parts. I can’t imagine this is 2025 and that’s what they are requesting; moreover that’s not written on the letter that we should give the “physical letter”. And the reason is, they are worried that “we can take the letter and use it at another dealership and these are the guidelines”. My son spoke to Ellick and that’s the service manager. I tried to reason with him. I told him we’re busy and you can’t expect us to come and drive an hour and a half again to give you that letter, and moreover the chassis number is on the letter and he will log it on the system and we cannot use it anywhere else. ABC common sense but it falls in deaf ears. This is too unprofessional for my simple mind to comprehend. That’s the end of my business there. A complete waste of time! More

The current team has awful customer service. It's as if they don't want to put in any effort to have your business. They have no follow through or care. I understand stock is low, but they gave me no support and assurance that I could retain my vehicle while I wait to see what options I would have for the following manufacturing year.
