A level of Rudeness & Unprofessionalism This has been my go to place for close to 2 years now. I've always had a great service (despite couple of hiccups) , and dealt with the same Rep Chris who is nothing short of perfect. Today, I can unfortunately say that I was very disappointed with who they put as their 1st customer contact. This lady, "Brianne" has been rude, aggressive, poor mannered, and with a terrible attitude. Getting talked down to by a teenager who's supposed to be the one welcoming you in with a smile or at least a proper work etiquette is beneath this place and a massive turn-off given my past great experiences. After waiting for over 2 hours for my cars, asking for an update on my car should definitely not trigger such rude and "talk back" kind of attitude. I am not sure if she was having very bad day, if this was her 1st day having a job, or if she's someone's relative and they gave her a job, but I've worked in customer service, and this lady's attitude is unacceptable and disrespectful. Choose your staff better, or train them better. More
Estimated time issue I was given an estimated time of two hours for car service...when I returned, I was told the car wasn’t ready and told to go to the waitingg room and I was given an estimated time of two hours for car service...when I returned, I was told the car wasn’t ready and told to go to the waitingg room and they would come get me when done. I assumed this meant perhaps 15-20 minutes. A full hour and twenty later, I had to Investigate myself only to be be told car was ready but in line for a car wash( seems to me that when you have taken up that much more time already, you would ask first...I’m only steps away)..being told it would be ten minutes, I figured OK.., 15 minutes later, I again had to go ask myself only to be told that my car was still « next in line ».....what?! I cancelled and it still took another while before the car was ready I feel my time doesn’t matter and I had to leave extremely disappointed with my experience....lesson learned don’t trust the estimated time...mine was double and no apology....that it can sometimes take longer than expected is forgiveable, that you can’t communicate that to your client is not. If the mechanics aren’t communicating with front line staff, that’s a management problem and needs to be fixed. More

Poorly organized service department I scheduled simple maintenance for an appointment starting at 7:30 AM, as I had to get to work. Over an hour and a half later, my car was still sittin I scheduled simple maintenance for an appointment starting at 7:30 AM, as I had to get to work. Over an hour and a half later, my car was still sitting in the lot and had not even entered the shop yet. I don’t think they understood the idea about what an “appointment” means. If you value your time, I would not recommend going to this service department. More

Buying a new car should be an extremely enjoyable experience and Larry made it exactly that. Everything was seamless and delivered on time. They even accommodated our noisy kids with a smile. Larry is great to deal with, easy to contact and always responds. If you are looking for a Toyota dealership in the lower mainland make the trip. In this day and age it’s great to have an experience where you can fully trust the dealership to take care of everything. More

When I went back to ask whether or not they actually vacuumed, I was asked whether or not I want the interior to be pressure washed...It's quite pathetic to be asked that question especially from a dealership. That was the worst dealership experience of my life and will never accept another complimentary cleaning service from car dealerships again. If you can, please be sure to visit other dealerships first before Destination Toyota in Burnaby. More

Disappointed I've been going to this Toyota service location for almost 9 years now with my 2009 Rav 4 and I know I'm paying more for labour to expect better servi I've been going to this Toyota service location for almost 9 years now with my 2009 Rav 4 and I know I'm paying more for labour to expect better service quality. However, I've recently been quite disappointed. On May 1st, I went in for regular service maintenance and oil change. The cooling service system was recommended amongst many items and I chose to do that one for $126.95. On approximately June 1st, my vehicle was making lots of noise and I also changed my alternator there for over $700. There appeared to still be some noise immediately after to which the service rep also mentioned but the mechanic insisted it was fine and everybody was in a rush to go home at the end of the day. Not surprisingly, some noise continued and I had to return again on June 16. It turns out the mechanic did a poor job putting it in so a bolt was rubbing against the belt. I had to wait all day with no phone calls, left two messages with the service rep, and finally went in person at the end of the day to learn this. While they were fixing their mistake, I was informed that there was a crack at my water pump and my rear brakes were due for replacement. I don't know much about vehicles, so I rather be safe than sorry and replaced everything as recommended. The bill came to $823. At first, I was happy that Toyota gave me a "discount" of $80 on the labour...considering I just spent $2000 there the last 2 months. However, it turns out I had to change the cooling service system again when I change the water pump, so I actually paid an additional $126.95 for something I just did a month ago! With the poor job on the alternator change, delayed info on the alternator, feeling cheated having to do two cooling service 2 months in a row, and all the time and inconvenience wasted going back and forth there, I have to say I'm disappointed and am considering going to another service location. More
