I would not recommend this place to do any work on my car inside or out. Guys who work there do not know what they are doing better to go local and avoid large American companies. More
Treated us like clowns I emailed this dealership an offer for a 2009 Malibu vehicle on consignment and my offer was accepted by Cristina Coco. I received an email from Joe S I emailed this dealership an offer for a 2009 Malibu vehicle on consignment and my offer was accepted by Cristina Coco. I received an email from Joe Stellato confirming a booked appointment for the next day. Since I was able to get a ride from a co-worker to go to the dealership on the same day, I called and spoke directly with Joe who told me he was the only one who could sign the sale on this vehicle and he would be there. We had booked an appointment for 5:20 ~ 5:30PM on the same day - Friday Dec. 9, 2016. I was to meet my wife at the dealership who went by bus and brought the cash and plates to purchase the vehicle. By 5:15PM I was at Yorkdale Mall and called Joe to let him know I was just around the corner and was told "no problem, I'm here waiting for you". I arrived before my wife at the dealership to be told by Joe (the only one who could sign the sale) that his staff had just sold the vehicle 15 minutes prior to my arrival. His story is that while he was driving he had received a message on his cell phone showing the vehicle was sold. I went outside and met up with my wife who was extremely disappointed with what had just happened. To make matters worse, Joe invited us to play the "Click and Win" BS game where each of us got $750.00 that could not be combined toward a new vehicle purchase. Knowing my budget and the fact that I did NOT want to finance or lease a vehicle, this is what I was offered and pushed into, a new vehicle. After keeping us after hours (dealer closed at 6PM that day) Joe mentioned he was going to get me something similar to the 2009 Malibu or better. He created my customer file in their system and made it look like we were going somewhere with a purchase. We took an old 2003 Nissan Sentra vehicle w/ 67000KM for a test drive. The price was $4000 but he would sell it for $3000. We had sold a 2004 Honda Civic to upgrade and this is the "upgrade" I was offered. No deal! The next day as I was heading to a smaller dealer when Joe called me and offered me the same 2003 vehicle for $2500.00. He also tried to warn me about smaller dealers not being honest (very professional). CONCLUSION: Total disregard for a serious buyer. The click and win BS really pissed us off, we are not clowns. Offered a 2003 vehicle for a customer wanting a 2009. PS: The consignment vehicle was a bait! Today (Dec. 13, 2016) the 2009 CHEVROLET MALIBU LS is still listed for sale on their website. More

Absolute scammers Cheated family members out of their deposits followed by threats from the dealership for not purchasing the vehicle. Will be reporting to OMVIC. The car was not ready when promised and when I did pick it up things had still not been fixed on it that were supposedly fixed during the safety so the salesman had to bring it into the shop to have the wipers replaced and light bulbs replaced even though it had already been safety-ed. Somehow in the 4 days between me buying it and picking it up they put 400 km on the car and went through the full tank of gas that it had. I made a comment when I picked the car up that I already paid a $30 fee for fuel and the car barely had $5 worth in it, the salesman then had to go and fill the car up for me. I spoke with the GM and he said they must have needed to drive it to pass the emission test, I call BS. I had a few other problems with the deal that I won't go into. I was promised a $50 check from the GM for the hassle as I told him I wouldn't use the free oil changes he was offering and never received the check. I would never even take my car her to be serviced, let alone buy another car off these people. I went here because its a recognized dealer not just some used car lot and yet I got the same service and run around as I would from a no name used car lot. More
Worst Dealership experience ever! My experience at Dean Myers has been the worst ever and that's just putting it mildly. I had looked up used cars online on autotrader and came across a car that I've been looking at for a while now and it just so happened to be at Dean Myers. I emailed them to inquire about the vehicle and its availability. I did get a quick response from their sales guy, Mick, who was actually quite helpful and friendly. I made an appointment to test drive the vehicle and after doing so, I decided to purchase it. Mick introduced us to the finance manager, Dwayne who would help us with the finance process as we weren't paying cash for the vehicle. Dwayne was extremely rude and unprofessional from the start. This is where the nightmare begins. He tried to sell us on warranty many times and we declined, that's when he become condescending and rude. He made comments like "this is an older vehicle and if there's any problems with the car, just don't bring it back to me." And comments like "oh I don't care if you get the warranty or not, that's not my problem." And "I've seen customers who declined insurance and when they drive it for a few months, they experience problems and come back complaining about it, and you never know if that's going to happen to your vehicle." The tone of voice that he used and the attitude he was giving was unbelievable. I've never dealt with anyone like that ever before. There was zero customer service and absolutely no professionalism. We decided to overlook his comments and once the paperwork was finished, he said he would get back to us within the hour and if not, then by the end of the day. This deal was signed on Friday morning and we waited all day and no word from Dwayne. Saturday came and still nothing from him. I got a bit frustrated with him and decided to email the sales guy to follow up. Funny enough by the end of Saturday, I get a phone call from Dwayne saying he couldn't get me approved and he had tried four different lenders. He said if I had a consigner then it would be good to go and I said that's fine, I can get a consigner. He said he would email me the paperwork for the consigner to fill out shortly. The paperwork never came through until Monday morning. After getting the paperwork filled out and sent back to him, he said he would get back to me by the end of Monday. Again no word from him at all. I had to call to follow up with him the following day and his answer was he couldn't get me approved and that he would try one more lender and he would have a definite answer by end of the day. Waited for him again and yet no answer until I followed up with him the next day. He pretty much said he couldn't get me approved. I then asked for my deposit to be refunded, which was taken from my credit card, and he said that it wouldn't be refunded back on the card, but instead issued as a cheque and I would have to wait one to two days for that. He said the sales guy would call me once the cheque has been issued. I waited for three days and still no word from either of them, so I emailed Dwayne and this is where the story changes, he now tells me that the money was refunded back to my credit card a few days ago and I should check with my bank. I checked with my bank and there was no refund and I waited a few more days as I know it could take a little while for refunds to show on credit cards. After waiting and seeing no refund on my credit card, I emailed Dwayne letting him know that there was no refund on my credit card. He never replied to me after that. I had to personally go into the dealership a few days after to speak with the sales manager, Bes, I believe that was his name and explained everything that happened and he said he would personally make sure the refund was processed and follow up and until today, many weeks later, I still haven't received a refund from the dealership. Meanwhile this whole thing was happening, I ended up going to Menzies Chrysler and purchased a vehicle from them and I got approved within the hour. The vehicle was a bit newer and a little more then the one I was going to purchase from Dean Myers. The business manager was super friendly and efficient and she was a pleasure to deal with. She told me I had good credit and that car loans are pretty easy to get. I even went online to Equifax to check my credit and it was very good!! I'm not sure why they employ the people they do at Dean Myers, who clearly don't want to help customers and perhaps just certain types of customers. I will definitely never return to that dealership and I would advise everyone to stay away from it!!! Worst customer service ever! And they are still holding onto my money???! More

Avoid This Dealership I have now purchased two vehicles from this dealership, and have previously only bought from General Motors. After my second car purchase from this de I have now purchased two vehicles from this dealership, and have previously only bought from General Motors. After my second car purchase from this dealer, this will be the last time I will be buying anything from GM. The first car I bought, granted, should have been my first clue. When I initially went into the dealership, the salesman I talked to didn't know the model and I had to find it on the lot for him. I was going to look elsewhere for the car, but an eager young salesman called me on reference from the auto show and helped me out. This experience was positive, and the salesman was very helpful. Unfortunately, when I decided to go back to buy another car, this salesman was gone, and I got stuck with the garbage. The car I found was in excellent condition, it just happened to be at the worst dealership I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Initially I was told I could take the car anywhere to get the safety done, I found out after the fact that I could no longer get temporary tags because they had already transferred the vehicle ownership to me. This effectively locked me into servicing the vehicle at the dealer. Fast-forward to a month after I bought my car, and I finally was able to properly license the car and drive it. I think my phone calls were only ever returned once by one of the service guys. At one point they lost the keys to the car. I had to constantly go into the dealer to get status updates. I only encountered 3 helpful people while I was there, one being the service adviser, one being the receptionist, and the other being the service manager after I told him everything that had happened. Do yourself a favor, if you are set on GM do a search of dealerships and travel to a good one and avoid this one, it doesn't deserve to be GM branded. For me though, the fact that a dealer this bad even still exists and hasn't been harpooned by GM explains much about their financial problems. More

I chose this place simply because it was the closest place to me that would do Pontiac service recalls. So I made an appointment, arrived at the appointed hour, and everything went like clockwork. They asked me if I need a ride anywhere, and drove me there then picked me up when my car was ready a few hours later. Man I felt like a VIP! All the staff were super nice. And all this for service recalls that didn't cost me anything. So when I looked online to see what other people said, I was surprised at the bad reviews on this particular website. Google reviews is a bit less harsh. Personally I thought it was all pretty great. I`m planning on coming back next time I need any other kind of work done on my car. More
