The best day of my life was when I walked into Davis GMC On Tuesday August 8th, 2017 I was on a purposeful mission to buy a new 2017 GMC Canyon with the 2.8 l turbo diesel. I am 75 years of age, semi-retired On Tuesday August 8th, 2017 I was on a purposeful mission to buy a new 2017 GMC Canyon with the 2.8 l turbo diesel. I am 75 years of age, semi-retired and upon entering the sales area, I was greeted by Krysta Murphy and was very pleased how polite, helpful and knowledgeable she was. She easily located on her computer the SLT model I was looking for and in short order we were out for a test drive. Upon return we sat down to discuss the price and my trade-in and with her help it did not take me long to move into the actual purchase phase. After the purchase was complete I returned on Friday August 11th when the truck was ready and I was pleasantly surprized that it was Krysta who would be going over the various operational & technical features of the Canyon. She was clear and concise as she explained numerous details. When I drove off the Davis lot in my brand new truck, I left with the satisfaction of having dealt with a wonderful and extremely competent saleslady. I would recommend her to anyone wanting a new vehicle from Davis GMC Buick. . More

Had a mass air flow sensor go on my work truck. Sensor was out of stock & took 2 days to come from Vancouver. The awesome staff was able to get in right away at 4 pm Wednesday when the part arrived. Used to be Good, not sure about that anymore. I have ways brought my vehicles to Davis for service. Sadly I think now never again. I brought in a truck running perfectly for an oil change and 30 m I have ways brought my vehicles to Davis for service. Sadly I think now never again. I brought in a truck running perfectly for an oil change and 30 minutes later a phone call asked if I ever had a problem with my truck not moving when put in gear. I came down and was told the PCM module died while they had it in the bay. Truck would not move forward or reverse. So left with little choice. On the diesel forums I have researched and know this could possibly happen but how perfect this works out. What worries me is the answers I was given: well it could have been because you tranny was overfilled and oh by the way so was your transfer case, I said hmm Davis did both of those fluid changes in previous services then was oh ya probably not an issue. Also when truck would not move transmission said reset required I asked what this was and how to do and was met blank looks and no help, I found that this is the tranny in limp mode and how to reset it in 5 minutes on the diesel forum More
