I brought my car in for a diagnostic because I had some lights on. It was completely driveable. They said it had a bad driver side wheel bearing and possibly needed a new speed sensor. I declined service a lights on. It was completely driveable. They said it had a bad driver side wheel bearing and possibly needed a new speed sensor. I declined service as I have a tech who I trust to do my service for me. I came to pick it up today and the brakes felt funny so I went back in. I talked to the service person (Tom) and he took it back to a tech, who said that the ABS sensor was stuck on, but should be driveable. I drove it off the lot and down the road and the 4WD light came on saying it had overheated and then the park brake engaged and I couldn’t drive. Very scary. Thank goodness I wasn’t on the highway. I turned it off and back on and drove right back. It engaged again when I got in the lot, so I turned it on and off again and parked. I left the car there again overnight. I understand that they have to ask questions, but they were a bit accusatory, asking questions and saying it may have gotten worse since I left it. I assume it was not driven since I left it Friday. If I drove it there, I should be able to drive it home with no issues. I hope to be able to give a better rating if the issue is fixed. More
