Worst Service Department Ever I would NEVER recommend using this dealership to anyone. My experience dealing with their service department and management was incredibly frustrati I would NEVER recommend using this dealership to anyone. My experience dealing with their service department and management was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Used them to service and repair my VW Tiguan for the past few years based on their close location to my home and can't recall one time where I felt like my business was appreciated and left each time feeling like I was an annoyance. In my opinion the service advisors, management and techs that have worked on my vehical or dealt with me personally are completely incompetent and unprofessional. I feel that as a woman I was particularly treated disrespectfully and patronized. The only positive experience I had was when my service advisor was a female and the work was a simple lube oil and filter however I do not believe she is still working there. To save yourself time, money and serious frustration I recommend you avoid this dealership at all costs and take your VW to Leavens for any service needs you have. The staff at Leavens know what they are doing and absolutely appreciate your business. More
Clueless sales person I visited Dalmar Motors recently to test drive a Q3 and the sales person did not know very much about the vehicle. Although I was able to test drive I visited Dalmar Motors recently to test drive a Q3 and the sales person did not know very much about the vehicle. Although I was able to test drive the vehicle I wanted to buy. The sales person did not know much about the Q3. Granted that they just came out. At least make an effort to find out. He did not seem to be interested in selling a vehicle. Will go to another dealership instead who will most likely be able to answer basic questions about the vehicle I am interested in. More
Worst place to deal with I had the absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had at this dealership. The employees were over the top pushy, rude, ignorant, and not attentive at all. I would highly recommend that you stay away from this dealership for any vehicle purchase. I live in the North West area of London, I drove right past Dalmar and continued to Leavens VW where I had the most incredible experience. The staff was nice, courteous, and incredibly helpful. If you want the best experience Leavens is the way to go. More
Audi service at Dalmar, and likely, with Audi Global is horrific. My 2010 Audi A3 TDI has been in their shop approx 12 times and the level of overall service has been nothing but disappointing. The last o horrific. My 2010 Audi A3 TDI has been in their shop approx 12 times and the level of overall service has been nothing but disappointing. The last one is with an emissions warranty claim. Check engine light came on, booked appointment. Exhaust flap motor failed (again, as it was previously replaced). Dalmar motors replaced it under warranty. Within half a day, engine light came back on. Called Dalmar, spoke to service advisor. Responded that he would look at it and charge me for any diagnosis if the engine light illumination was not from that specific issue they had previously repaired. Of course, I was not impressed with the tone nor the immediate deflection of any wrong doing. Booked another appointment. Got the car back and was told that the engine light was due to the same problem but they were unable to do anything to fix it and I was simply to drive it and advise. Next day, same fault. Called and spoke to service manager. Gave him the car while I was on vacation. Upon my return, manager advised me the issue is stil with the emissions system and they will no longer continue to repair it under warranty and it will cost me $3000 for the parts/labor. Yep, when Dalmar/Audi needed to step up to the plate and complete the task which they initially recognized as a warranty issue they changed their mind and felt it was no longer feasible for them to do so, and therefore I would have to pay an incredible $3k. Called Audi Canada to make a complaint. They reinterated what Dalmar stated, although they 'claimed' to have reviewed the details of the issue fully. When I asked specifics, they simply responded that Dalmar had determined it was not covered. Buy an Audi - Don't expect great service! More
Worst dealership in London, Ontario - lived here for 50+ years, and have never experienced such terrible customer service - totally dishonest sales team. Believe me, if you are searching for an Audi vehicl years, and have never experienced such terrible customer service - totally dishonest sales team. Believe me, if you are searching for an Audi vehicle, your best to look elsewhere, it's worth the drive out of town!!!! More
I have had nothing but problems with Dalmar since buying a brand new car from them a month ago. Horrible service, I have been treated like an annoyance to them while dealing with a list of problems with th a brand new car from them a month ago. Horrible service, I have been treated like an annoyance to them while dealing with a list of problems with the car since day one. They are horribly disorganized and once they have your money they do not care about you. I have only driven my car for 3 consecutive days since owning it due to major problems and they have not offered me a thing, let alone shown any empathy. Details are below: I signed for brand new Jetta Sportline on August 29th. It was agreed that I would pick the car up on October 3rd. Went to pick up my car. Windows were not tinted as stated in the deal and there were 2 deep scratches in the front bumper. Car was returned to me after being tinted and the front bumper re-finished. The clear coat had runs throughout the bumper and there were several bubbles in the paint by the headlight. Brought the car back into the body shop the next day, they were not able to wet sand some parts to repair it I was instructed to come back on Monday so they could refinish the bumper again. Over the weekend I discovered that there was water leaking into the interior of the car and pooling on the floor of the passenger side of the vehicle. The vehicle smelled musty due to this leak. I brought it in right away to show Nick in the service department. I also discovered that the weather stripping around the sunroof was cracked in several places. Lastly, there was a loud squeaking coming from the front dash. I brought the car back to Dalmar to have the bumper finished and notified the General Manager about the 3 issues that had been noticed over the weekend. I expressed my disappointment in the service I had received thus far, I was yet to receive an apology for anything. The bumper and sunroof weather stripping were repaired. I was notified that the leak was not coming from the AC drain and they couldn't find it. The car was returned to me at the end of the week. They forgot to look into why the car was squeaking so I made another appointment to bring the car back on Monday to have it repaired again. Over the weekend the car continued to leak and interior was soaked yet again. Brought my car back for the appointment notified them that the leak is still not fixed and expressed my serious concern about this issue. The phone call I placed to the General Manager was not returned, rather he forwarded my voicemail to the service department. Car was returned to me a week later after fixing the leak which was apparently coming from a manufacturing error under the car which was resealed after having a leak specialist look at the car. The squeaking was fixed by replacing a piece of the panel in the dash. I drove the car over the weekend and yet again, the passenger side of the car is soaked from the same leak. I brought the car back for the third time to fix the leak alone. To make matters worse when I signed for this car I was offered a recent graduate discount of $750, even though I was not a recent graduate I was told as long as my boyfriend brought in his degree and co-signed for the car I would be eligible for the discount. I was called over the weekend by Mike in Finance to let me know that my financing was rejected by VW Finance because my boyfriend needed to be the primary owner of the car and I would have to be on the contract as a co-signer in order to get the discount. I told him that would not work for me and informed me that they would have to make a new contract without the discount if I did not put the car in his name. Completely obscured as this was not my mistake. I signed for this car at the end of August and am now into the last week of October with a rental. The longest I have been able to keep this car since I've owned it has been 3 consecutive days. The only people at Dalmar who have showed concern and empathy for the nightmare I am in have been Ken from the body shop and Chris from the service department. Dennis the GM has had many excuses for the above issues and has not done anything accept offer me $100 service credit after I went to him to express my concerns. It has gotten to the point where I feel like I am an annoyance to them, when in fact I just want what I signed for, a car without a list of problems. More
