An Yound Sales and Sales Manager Tony I went there on 04/26/16 afternoon, was planning to ask some info regarding the S5. I was hanging out in the show room around 10 mins, once I sat on t I went there on 04/26/16 afternoon, was planning to ask some info regarding the S5. I was hanging out in the show room around 10 mins, once I sat on the S5 the sales finally here with no smile and didnt look like he believes me gonna purchase the vehicle. I started asking questions"whats the features" "Price difference between standard S5 and top trim S5"...... When I told him "Im looking for a job, can i leasing or financing?" He askes me back:"Do you think the dealership would finance a car to a person who doesnt have a job?" And he replies right back:"No, i dont think so." He didnt even invite me to his desk, and he seemed like didnt even care about me, coz i didnt have money at that time. I asked him if i want to know the detail pricing about the vehicle, he finally walking towards his desk without saying abything, lol. He printed out 2 pages for me, one is for the pricing details, and when i asked for the feature list, he points on the paper says:"They are all here." He didnt even want to explain once more. The main part is i called the sales manager letting him know the experience that i had earier, Tony(sales manager) replies:" I dont believe that, he is the top sales, he would never treat customers like that." Tony was inpatient and trying to find plenty of excuses to cover his top sales, he thinks sales is the number one weapon, not customer service. I was calling about the customer experience, and he starts asking me what kinda car im looking for, this was the hilarious thing ive ever had in my life so far, totally messed up. I will never return to this dealership, they are careless, irresponsible, I would rather drive couple hours to purchase a S5 elsewhere. I will definately tell all my friends and ill be trying to get in touch with the area manager, see if he is wanting to listen to me better than branch manager. Guys, please do not go to this dealership, they are not deserved to be paid, and you dont want to be receiving the worst customer service while buying a car there feeding the lazy gold digger sales. Please choose the right dealership and person to increase the valua of your money. More

At a recent appointment I had a concern regarding a major future repair that would be required on my vehicle and the service consultant, Andrew Kay responded immediately to thoroughly discuss options and to assure me that everything would be taken care of. The dealership was true to their word as my car is in incredible condition now. It was extremely relieving being able to trust leaving my vehicle in their hands and knowing the job would be done to a high standard. Thoroughly impressed. More

Blew a golden opportunity My 18-year old daughter just bought her first car at Dalmar, a 2011 Jetta 5-speed. The sales experience with Mike E. was fine, and we quickly arrived My 18-year old daughter just bought her first car at Dalmar, a 2011 Jetta 5-speed. The sales experience with Mike E. was fine, and we quickly arrived at and shook on a final cash price: $11,200 +HST. The business manager was next, talking my daughter through the additional fees to license the car (a total of $91), carefully calculating out for her the prorated government amount. Unfortunately he did NOT bother to mention the $274 "admin fee" or $75 "anti theft fee" that was quietly tacked onto the invoice, and unfortunately I was not vigilant in reviewing the invoice before my daughter signed it. When we returned a few days later to pay for and pick up the car, I politely raised my concern with another member of the sales team (Mike E was off that day). His brusque response was to point to my daughter's signature and say: "ALL SALES ARE FINAL." I acknowledged this, but it didn't seem right that the extra charges were added without any explanation, and wouldn't the dealership like to make this right? Especially considering that we had purchased my wife's new Jetta there just two years earlier, and given that we've had all our service work done by Dalmar on that and other family VWs over the years. His answer: "Nope -- ALL SALES FINAL". Okay, a deal's a deal and she did sign it. So I wrote the cheque and off we drove. In fact, my daughter had been willing to pay a bit more for the car than the final price, so this was really not about the dollars. But to my way of thinking, these guys COMPLETELY BLEW a golden opportunity to be classy and build trust and goodwill with me (an OLD customer), and with my daughter (a NEW customer). I was really pulling for them to do the right thing! Such a shame. Leavens will be on my family's radar going forward. More

Techs with zero experience Had my 2011 Audi r8 v10 in. They never mentioned they don't have a certified r8 a8 tech working. Told me oil change was 150. Billed me 300. Booked Had my 2011 Audi r8 v10 in. They never mentioned they don't have a certified r8 a8 tech working. Told me oil change was 150. Billed me 300. Booked in for a alignment. Wasn't done. Didn't have time. They did have time just old beat up alignment rack. They couldn't get the car on the rack. Had tpms codes. They said electrical issue. My reverse camera didn't work. And spoiler didn't work. They said electrical issue.. Billed 2 hours said we don't even know where to start. The oil change was done incorrectly. The oil needs to be at warm before draining. The car didn't even have tpms sensors. Because of aftermarket rims. The spoiler just needed to have the module reprogrammed. My personal mechanic did it for free. Needed one parking sensor. 65 bucks and the rear camera worked. Car was covered in oil hand prints. Marked green on the vehicle checklist. Tires good. Fluids good. Wipers good. Etc. etc. The tires were bald. Zero washer fluid in the bottle. And 1 bulb burnt out. Nice! All of which I gladly paid my mechanic. More
Worst Customer Service STAY AWAY! There is a reason that there are so many negative reviews on Dalmar Motors. I thought since it was close to my house that it would be worth a shot. I am a huge car buff and I religiously look over all aspects of a vehicle before I buy. The sales rep I talked to knew nothing about the car and just started stating random facts as if they were out of a playbook written for him. I would respect the sales team a lot more if they actually spent time to love and appreciate VW's. They all seem miserable and could care less about the vehicles they have in their lineup. The other issues I have had so far is with the service department. I took my vehicle in four times for the same issue telling the sales team exactly what the problem was and they refused to believe that it could be the problem. Finally I told them "drive the xxxx vehicle yourself and you'll see!" So they did and low and behold, the problem that I had told them that it was turned out to be more than a suspicion. I mean when you have an amateur diagnosing the issue that your techs cant find you need to be in another field of business. Overall my experience with this place has been horrific and I wouldn't recommend anyone going to dalmar for any future business. Its disgusting the way they treat their customers, their service is atrocious, and they conduct their business like children. STAY AWAY! More
