We've purchased a new 2012 Toyota Sienna XLE. Although we've owned mini vans since 1990, this is the first Toyota vehicle for us and the first new vehicle we've purchased since 1972. We,ve previously had we've owned mini vans since 1990, this is the first Toyota vehicle for us and the first new vehicle we've purchased since 1972. We,ve previously had some broken promises and bad experiences from competing brands. Prior to purchasing any large, expensive item, we always check the ratings for the item in our Consumer Reports subscription. Toyota Sienna vans are always at or near the top of the ratings. Although Siennas are often more expensive than competing brands and because we drive few kilometers keep a vehicle for many years, we decided the added expense would be tolerable and decided to visit several Toyota dealers. On September 6, 2012 we had a look at 2012 Siennas that were still available at Sunshine Toyota. On September 7, 2012 we met with Brad Coates who showed us the XLE. We were very impressed with the vehicle and after considerable friendly negotiations, we agreed to purchase the Sienna. Our experience with Brad, Jacqi, Ji and others in the sales area has been very satisfying. Subsequent experiences with Terry in parts and Darren in service have been equally so. The staff at Sunshine Toyota are complimented for their fine customer service. We have purchased several vehicles over the course of our lives and we have never come away from an expensive purchase feeling better than we have this time.
