I walked into the dealership early one morning and was greeted immediately by Ron Ackerman. Even though he had a customer appointment in a short period of time. He was very helpful in answering all my questions. It made me feel very comfortable and I set up an appointment for test drives with myself and my wife at a later date. She had the same opinions of Ron and the dealership as I had. As a result, we purchased the vehicle. After the purchase, the experience was as great as the selling experience. Brian Buckmaster, the business Manager was very helpful in answering any questions I had about various protection programs that were offered. Very professional as well. Finally, I dealt with Ji Yuan who explained all the details of the operation of the vehicle. I have never had such a detailed explanation of a vehicles operation. I have since had service in the dealership for my scheduled maintenance and the service department is as great as the sales department. Really well run dealership and the staff make the difference. My highest recommendation and I would recommend all to them and Ron if you are thinking of purchasing a new vehicle. More

I was originally interested in purchasing a used Rav4 and had called Sunshine Toyota to enquire about a used advertised vehicle. I spoke with Wade over the phone and learned that the vehicle in question was had called Sunshine Toyota to enquire about a used advertised vehicle. I spoke with Wade over the phone and learned that the vehicle in question was not what I was really interested in. Wade said he would keep me in mind when anything else came in used that might be suitable. A few weeks later Wade did call advising there was a used Rav4 that they just got in off a trade that I may be interested in. My husband and I went to look and also decided to look at the new Ravs. I was impressed with Wade having called initially and then he made us feel quite welcome when we came in. Wade and the staff we dealt with were patient, polite and professional. We had a great experience at Sunshine and ended up purchasing a new Rav4 which we are delighted with. We would definately recommend dealing with Wade and Sunshine as a whole. More
My wife and I have bought a number of cars over the years but no other dealership had someone doing what Jeff does. He walked us through the pre-delivery process with careful attention to detail and was ver but no other dealership had someone doing what Jeff does. Buying a new vehicle is supposed to be a happy experience. Not one which you feel like you have been "taken for a ride". We had entered the dealership and approached by Wade. We told him what we were interested in and arranged for a test drive of the vehicle we were looking at. After the test drive we were told to leave a fully refundable deposit to hold the vehicle while we were looking into financial aspect of POSSIBLY purchasing this vehicle. We were then escorted upstairs to talk "numbers" with Brian Buckmaster so that we knew what we needed from the bank. At no time during our conversations with either of these gentlemen did we say we were definitely purchasing this vehicle. We had come for a TEST DRIVE. Numbers were being thrown at us for this protection plan, this option, etc as they usually do, offering any addition costs to the vehicle. Under false pretense, we signed a piece of paper which was supposed to be the estimate of the purchase cost so we could take "numbers" to the bank. This sheet was shoved in a white envelope at at no time was it explained to us that THIS WAS THE PURCHASING AGREEMENT! We are not stupid people, but we were had by shoddy salespeople. We did not know this was the purchase agreement til the next day when we went to discuss which options we wanted. The vehicle was already being prepped for delivery and were told the contract was binding! At no point was there any discussion about negotiations on the price. Buyer BEWARE what these guys are capable of. Read EVERY paper put in front of you. Get THEM to sign that your deposit is FULLY refundable before you give them the deposit. I hope this will avoid other people of the lost sleep we experienced from buying a new vehicle. It is supposed to be a HAPPY experience. Not one of dread. More
Usually the process in purchasing a new vehicle can be quite the chore with sales pressure and infamous hidden fees only disclosed when it is time to sign the contract but to my pleasant surprise, Sunshin quite the chore with sales pressure and infamous hidden fees only disclosed when it is time to sign the contract but to my pleasant surprise, Sunshine Toyota did not pressure you to buy a vehicle or charge you hidden fees such as the infamous "documentation fee" running in the hundreds of dollars and charged by many dealers. As a matter of fact, our RAV4 XLE was clean, had factory floor mats put in, and came with a full tank of gas when picked up. Kudos go to Zac Friesen for locating our RAV4 XLE that I wanted in black on the other side of the province and having that vehicle delivered in a matter of days. He understood our time crunch, because my other vehicle was written off and our family was down to a single vehicle. Any and all concerns that I had were promptly and politely returned in a timely manner. Therefore, I would highly recommend Zac and Sunshine Toyota to friends and family when they are considering a vehicle purchase. More
Puchaseed my new 2012 Camry SE, dealt with Mike Del Grosso, who took the time to listen to what I wanted in a car and let me test drive the new Camry. But product knowledge wasn't up to par, as he stated the car I wanted was the base SE model, not the one with the leather and moonroof pkg. I insisted I drove the loaded SE model and that is what I purchased. Did the financing through Kristen Dare, who was late for the appt and tried to rush through the financing and pushed 3 times to get me to buy extra packages, rust proof, undercoating etc. Was ready to leave until she stopped persisting extras that I don't need. Ji Yuan was very knowlegable and took the time to explain the new features of the Camry with the navigation and bluetooth on the display audio. The environment was not all the friendly, as to be expected when sales people work on commission and selling extras you don't need. I would recommend doing away with commission sales and focus on salary and bonuses and you will get a more positive and stress free environment. More
