Good Afternoon Kevin Thank you for your email. The reason we subscribe to this site is for customers like yourself to give there honest opinions on our customer service skills as well as our store process. So I thank you for your comments. With regards to your first concern regarding the color I think the issue was a communication issue from the supplier of the vehicle to us, and then a communication break down to yourself. I know you were interested in a blue Mazda 5 and in 2012 there are 2 blues offered. Stormy Blue and Clear Water Blue, the later of the 2 is what we had for you. If there was one blue color available then we wouldnt have had an issue. We told our supplier we needed a blue vehicle and did not specify dark or light blue. For this I am sorry. Concern #2 of the cruise control and blue tooth not being available, we should have communicated this information better with you. Mazda Canada currently does not have the options available for the Mazda 5, but is avaiable for the Mazda 2, and 3. We so seldom install these items in cars that we assumed the option was now available on he Mazda 5. We found out that it isnt at the moment, but should be in the near future. When it does become avaialble we will gladly do the work for you at our cost with no mark up. Lastly the total selling price that we would have quaoted you at the sales desk when you originally decided to purcahse the vehicle was the vehicle itself and then taxes. Taxes are always on all prurchases. If I had my choice I wouldnt charge anyone tax on there purchases but the goverment would be very unpleased with us. Plus you had also decided on the 2 way remote for $699.00 asd the Micheline X-Ice winter tires for $1099.00 Once you agreed to purchase the vehicle you would met James who offered you some additional optional items, which you had deceided to purchase. The Undercoating for $599.00, the Rust Protection for $400.00 and then the extended warranty on the vehicle for $1895.00. These items with taxes on top would have raised the vehicles overall selling price from the original selling price. If James had not told you in advance of the final cost of the vehicle I appologize. We are a 100% full disclosure dealership and would never purposely mislead our clients. If that is the impression you have I am very sorry. Thank you for your explanation. And thank you for you offer on the cruise control. We will accept that offer. Just to clarify my comments about the price of the vehicle, after I had sat down with Brendan he added up all the options (rust package, tires, Bluetooth, cruise, remote start) and I believe we were looking at about $21000 - $22000 plus whatever the warranty would come out to be ( $1500- $2000). So looking at a total of about $23000. I guess through some misscommunication I was under the impression that the $23000 was including taxes. That is why I was so shocked to get the final bill of sale over $26000 even without the cruise control. The anti theft etching was also a surprise on the bill that I don't recall being told would be added on. We ended up not adding the Bluetooth at this time in order to bring the cost down a bit.
