The first time we talked to Wes felt reassuring. We felt that he wants what's best for us. I had been looking for a used Ford Edge for a couple of weeks when I saw the 2012 at Crown Mazda. I phoned and spoke to Clive Carter and arranged to see the vehicle. I was very impressed with the profe weeks when I saw the 2012 at Crown Mazda. I phoned and spoke to Clive Carter and arranged to see the vehicle. I was very impressed with the professional and courteous manner in which Clive handled my queries. I now am driving the best vehicle that I have ever had, yet and am glad to have found it at Crown Mazda. I would highly recommend the dealership to anyone else looking for a new/used vehicle. During our dealings with Crown Mazda they were very friendly and welcoming but when it came to getting what we wanted they kept falling short. There were 3 big things that were very disappointing. Firs friendly and welcoming but when it came to getting what we wanted they kept falling short. There were 3 big things that were very disappointing. First was we were told that they found the dark blue Mazda 5 pre-owned that we wanted. They said for sure we could have cruise control and Bluetooth added to the vehicle. So the first big disappointment was when the vehicle arrived it was the wrong color blue from what they told us was coming. lucky for them we were not that picky and we needed a vehicle quickly even though it was not the color we wanted and were told we could have. The second big issue was after we had agreed to take that vehicle and would have cruise and Bluetooth installed we get a phone call and they tell us that the cruise cannot be installed because Mazda has not released a install kit for the 2012 Mazda 5 yet. So that means it could be months before Mazda releases an install kit IF they release one at all. So there is a good chance we could never have cruise on our vehicle. Cruise was an option we really wanted to have and was a major factor in choosing this particular pre-owned vehicle, and now we were let down once again. We ended up taking this vehicle anyway because we did not have the time to start the process over with some other dealership. The last big disappointment I had was after asking a few times to go over an estimate of the final,final cost that we would end up paying including options, warranty, fees, taxes, etc. so that we could get our fiances in order and that we knew what EXACTLY what we had to pay, they told us the final bill would come to $23,000 something. So that is what we expected once we got the bill of sale. So to our surprise on the bill of sale the total cost was over $26,000. Our hearts dropped. we didn't expect over $3000 dollars more than what they had estimated. What was added on top of the price was sales taxes (which we were under the impression was already factored into the price we were quoted), some other fees, and the anti-theft etching. Why were we not told about this. I had asked for and estimate of the absolute final price of this vehicle. Why do you people not mention all this other hidden stuff. So at the end of all this we ended up with a vehicle that was not what we had asked for and not what they had told us we were getting. So my advice to this dealership is to please be honest and upfront when talking Price. Please tell people roughly how much GST, and PST, will be or at least say "PLUS GST PST" when you mention the cost. tell them of the other fees that will be added on when you are talking cost well before they receive the final bill. Also when bringing in vehicles if there are more than of shade of a color know what shade you are bringing in. Don't just assume. My final piece of advice, Know your product and what you can and cannot add to it. 2012 is almost over and if Mazda has not release a cruise install kit for the 2012 model why do you not know this 11 months into the year? The entire team was so wonderful and understanding of me and my childrens needs. Being a single mother, people told me to be careful to shop alone as to not be pressured.. I had come in with my two children 2 and 6, on two evenings back to back. Wes was my main man, Mark was the next to make things happen, Brendon and Ashlen watched and entertained my children, with picture coloring or holding and playing, even feeding!!!- while James worked the other side of buisness with me, while making me bust a gut with laughter! I cant stress enough how amazing my experience was. They all made me and my children feel at home :) I was at ease with entire visit. I will without a doubt be spreading the word of this dealership. I loved my entire experience with Crown Mazda. The people who attended to my needs were friendly, attentive, patient, extremely respectful and seemed genuinely interested in helping me - all this with people who attended to my needs were friendly, attentive, patient, extremely respectful and seemed genuinely interested in helping me - all this without any hard-sell approaches or attitude. Wes Giesbrecht was extremely knowledgeable about the product and went out of his way to ensure I was comfortable driving my new Mazda when I picked it up on a stormy, rainy night. These things are important to me because when I buy a new car, I want to feel comfortable about the future relationship with the dealership. Mark, Wes and James not only answered all my questions about the product, they also introduced me to the other employees on duty at the time. They made me feel at home. More
After comparing several similar cars, I decided to buy from Wes and had chosen 1 of 2 manual, 6-speed Mazda3 hatchbacks he could access from another dealer. I tested a Ford Focus, a Chevy Sonic and the Ma from Wes and had chosen 1 of 2 manual, 6-speed Mazda3 hatchbacks he could access from another dealer. I tested a Ford Focus, a Chevy Sonic and the Mazda3 and I fell in love with the Mazda-haven't bought a new car in ages and this made me excited about car buying for the first time in a long time. We made an appointment for me to come in and do paperwork. Wes was busy, but got it done eventually. Wes knows his stuff and I will be driving a new car in a few days. More
The sales representative (Wes) contacted me immediately when I first sent out the email. Upon my appointment, he was able to give me all my options and on that same day he processed my papers in about 10 m when I first sent out the email. Other dealership makes me wait for a few days, but with him, it was awesome. When i asked him how long it would, he said 'now'. He then introduced me with James who is such a cool guy as well. Literally just a few question and he approved my financing. This show how much they value their customer's time! Its the trust, friendliness, and making me feel that its my second home is what I loved with the people working in Crown Mazda made my CX-5 purchase such a wonderful one. To put an icing on the cake, CX-5 is truly worthy of the 'zoom-zoom' slogan OF Mazda. No other SUV can beat its feature and fuel economy. More
Wes was great to deal with as well as Brian helped me out a lot with my financing! I bought a Mazda 3 sport hatchback with sky active and I am impressed! Clive Carter was my product advisor, and he was fantastic. Friendly, Helpful, Not pushy at all, asked what my needs were, asked what my budget was, and helped get the numbers where they needed to b fantastic. Brian Buckmaster, was very friendly, very business oriented, and explained my options when it came to warranties and other added protections when it came to closing the deal. All in all my experience was very good. My only complaint would be that the cleenup of the car before delivery could've been a little better as there were a few spots on the car i had to work at to remove, and some residual glue in a few spots where the protective coverings from transporting from the factory were. All in all though a very positive experience so far. They followed up with phone calls a week and 2 weeks after purchase, set up a free 42 day inspection at the time of purchase. I would definately recommend clive carter if you are thinking about buying a new mazda. More
