We went to the Calgary car show and looked at all of the SUVs on display. The Hyundai Santa Fe was tops in features, styling and value. To see if the vehicle handled as well as it looked we made an appointment with Sale Advisor Omar Tabasum at Crowfoot Hyundai. Omar made it his mission to find us the right vehicle for our growing family and explain all of the vehicle's features to us. Omar also accommodated our schedule fitting us in on a busy Saturday as my wife and I work during the week. The sales process was quick, smooth, and painless. We purchased our new Hyundai Santa Fe 2.0T Limited on Saturday and Omar made arrangements for us to pick up the vehicle the following Wednesday evening. As luck would have it, my wife went into labour on Wednesday morning and we weren't able to pick up our vehicle for another week. Omar again accommodated our changing schedule and met us last evening at the dealership to pick up the vehicle. When completing the inspection of the vehicle my wife opened the trunk to find a wrapped gift from Omar. My wife and I were blown away that a sales advisor would go above and beyond like that and take time out of their busy day to pick something up and wrap it for our newest family member. Needless to say, a very classy touch which has cemented my new relationship with this dealership. Because of the service that Omar provided during the sales process, I can say that we will certainly return to Crowfoot Hyundai for future business and will recommend both the dealership and Omar to all of our friends and family. (Justin Walter) were very helpful and patient. We never felt pressured or rushed into signing any contract nor did we feel obligated to buy. They were very honest, respectful and thorough in explaining all scenarios. We are seniors and this is the first time we've ever bought a vehicle in such a stress free manner. We did a lot of homework on this vehicle including pricing and walked away after the purchase feeling satisfied we actually got the best deal in the city. In our life time we have purchased numerous vehicles and at our age how nice to have experienced such a positive service/business environment with respect shown to the buyer. Thanks Justin for making this a pleasant experience with no pressure put upon us. We definitely would seek you out again for our next purchase. A very satisfied customer. More
I had a positive experience buying the car used. Sales guy was great. However, I noticed a few months after I bought the car that the paint was all knocked off the rocker panels (the panels under the fron guy was great. However, I noticed a few months after I bought the car that the paint was all knocked off the rocker panels (the panels under the front doors) and the bottom corners of the front quarter-panel. For a car with 40,000KM it seems a little early for a total of 4 body panels to have metal exposed and rust starting to form. I called the dealer and they had me take it in to take pictures to send for review by Hyundai Canada, and they said they would call me. After what felt like a long time, I called them. They let me know I had been declined because it was out of warranty. I asked if it was normal for cars with 40,000km to have the paint come off. They said call Hyundai Canada. I called them and after lots of circles they let me know I could have the adjustor reassess once he came back from vacation and they would call me back. I called again after a while, since I did not receive a call, and they let me know that I was declined again. They let me know that the last thing I could do was have the district manager inspect it. I called the dealer again to book a time with the district manager. The service manager was honest with me and said it wasn't worth my time, he never sees these get approved. I appreciated that. I let him know i was disappointed that I was sold a car with a serious issue. He advised me to talk with the sales manager, Paul. I left a message with the sales manager. I'm still waiting for a call. I like the car, but because I have never been called back, I am forced to give a 1/5 for customer service. The lack of concern for me in a situation where Crowfoot Hyundai and Hyundai Canada are not going to make money proves to me that I am not a valuable repeat customer. More
I have had nothing but a fantastic customer experience from the moment I walked into the dealership. I looked for a car for nearly a year at several dealerships in the city but when I walked into this one, I knew the level of customer service was way above that of the competition. I would wholeheartedly recommend this dealership to my friends, or to anyone wanting to purchase or lease a vehicle. We were driving a Santa Fe, which we loved because of its great gas mileage, room for cages (we were doing animal rescue), and stylish looks for an SUV. Purchasing or leasing new vehicles is usually frowned upon because of the "drive off the lot" cost loss, but let me tell you, there is nothing that is worth more than piece of mind in knowing that when I drive out of town or make long distance trips, that I am not going to break down at a moment's notice. A cheap car is a cheap car until the surprises come and you're left with expensive repairs, which had happened to us in the past. Kaval, our sales "advisor", was quite knowledgeable about the vehicle we were interested in and really left us feeling good about our decision. There was no pressure to buy and they did their very best to get us a price we could manage in our budget. Lana helped us through all the financing and really did a great job running through all the paperwork and handling of our purchase. Her knowledge left us with a feeling that no stone was left unturned and that everything that needed to be done, was handled with expertise and finese. And Mark, who also made the initial credit check and billing in a friendly and professional atmosphere. Our experience with this dealer was exceptional. All of our questions were answered, all of our concerns were dealt with, and any fears we had were allayed. Everyone was professional and everyone made this a great experience. This will be our third Hyundai leased/purchased but the first with Crowfoot Hyundai. I hope, that if in the future, we want to purchase/lease another vehicle, it will definitely be from Crowfoot Hyundai, but only if these people, Kaval, Mark and Lana, are there. Took out a vehicle for a test drive, and was impressed with the vehicle. Submitted an initial offer on the vehicle which was not accepted, so we submitted a second offer on the vehicle which was close to with the vehicle. After the 2nd offer was submitted we never heard anything back from the dealership. This vehicle had been on their lot for a couple of months, and so we thought that our offer was fair. We also noticed that all the options and km's on the vehicles that we looked at were not the same. The km's on the website are a lot less than what is actually on the vehicle (i.e. 36,200km on website and 56,206km on the vehicle), and other options listed for the vehicle that aren't actually on the vehicle. After we submitted the 2nd offer we never heard a thing back from them. No courtesy call to negotiate a price, nothing. When we called back a couple days later we had found out that the vehicle had been sold the morning that we called. Overall we had a bad experience, and very poor customer service. We would have appreciated some communication from the dealership, and maybe a courtesy call to see if we could come to an agreement on a price. More

First of all, they 'misunderstoond' the work to be done discussed over the phone, and when we wanted to talk to somebody, the service manager, Steve Minard came out with a pathetic apology and said there's discussed over the phone, and when we wanted to talk to somebody, the service manager, Steve Minard came out with a pathetic apology and said there's nothing he would do about the situation. We also talked to the Store manager, Barry, who was even worse with a cocky attidute and they seem to have no concern about "COMPLETE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION", which is clearly written on their invoice. Anyone going to Crowfoot Hyundai is just an arguement waiting to happen. More
