Our First Brand New Car Me and my husband fell in love with the Jeep Cherokee Limited 2014 since we first saw it. I told a friend who happened to buy a Ram pick up truck from Crosstown so he reffered us to Carlo. Unfortunately, he was not there but Mark saved the day. He took us to a test drive and explained very well the features of the car. Our credit history was not that great plus we are both new in Canada so we were nervous that we may not get approved. After 2 days, we got the good news from Mark. With the help of himself, Carlo and Lyle, we got an approval from Scotia Bank. I don't how they did it but we are very grateful with these 3 people who did their very best to help us. That was it! It felt like we were dreaming and we were not able to sleep that night. It was a dream come true! We badly needed a new car cause our old 2nd car is not in good condition anymore and we are expecting our first baby in November so we need a reliable car. We had to wait a little while as the truck was on the 'back' lot. It was worth the wait. We loved taking the truck out on our own; the ride was very smooth. When we returned, Trevor gave us a quote with the rebates then redid the quote with GOA pricing - an even better price. We were getting pretty interested in making a deal by this point so we talked about having to do a trade in if we were going to make the deal that day. Trevor then had a quote done for trade in value. It was a little lower than we expected but not out of the question. Before we left that day, we had a deal. The truck needed to be prepped. When we picked it up, Trevor went thru all the features inside and out - very thoroughly. Throughout the time we were there, Trevor was professional and respectful - the overall experience was very positive. Thanks Trevor! Husny approached us and started to talk about the 2014 Ram 1500 sport. We told him that we currently have a 2013 and love it. He asked if we had any other vehicles and I replied I own a 2013 Escape that I am not currently IN LOVE with. He tried suggesting to get me out of the Escape and I know my credit and the amount that I owe and decided to opt out of the deal. My boyfriend how ever was highly interested in the 2014 8 speed and Husny asked what he could do to get one of us into the newer truck. We gave him a list of requirements like, within a certain amount of our regular payments and a few other gadgets and gismos. He made it happen and by the next day, we had a new truck. All we came in for was an oil change and now, we don't have to buy new tires this year for our trip, we don't have a dent in the rear bumper (plus the 2014 came with the sensors - THANK GOD), our bi-weekly payments are roughly the same, we have 15 kilometers and not 51,000, no more pitted windshield, under the rear seats is a flat surface for our doggy, a longer box and a new friend that we know we will see again soon. Husny - I will be in there sometime soon to trade in That Escape of mine :D.
