Worst Car Buying Experience I contacted Crosstown as they came recommended. The salesman was friendly enough on the phone, but made promises he couldn't keep. When I went down in I contacted Crosstown as they came recommended. The salesman was friendly enough on the phone, but made promises he couldn't keep. When I went down in person, I was promised a "special deal" as they had a Chrysler rep out the day before, but had told me to head home when I was halfway there because their computers went down. That I could understand... But I went into this promised "special deal" and sat around with 3 kids for over 3 hours although they apparently had me pre-approved, but not for the minivan originally promised to me. My biweekly payment amounts kept going up without me asking for anything added on, they switched which bank I was approved through without any discussion. When I asked for paperwork, it took a day to get it sent out to me. To me, it seems they were busier counting my money than they were anything else. To top it off! When I asked questions about the bill of sale (prior to signing it), the service contract and the finance agreement...they wouldn't even call me back. I eventually asked to speak with management and this Adam called me and basically told me that I was distracting their salesman from selling cars and that they were cancelling the deal. As a consumer I have a right to thoroughly read through anything prior to signing it and I have a right to have my questions answered. Pathetic customer service and not good at keeping promises. I will never go back there again! Good job Crosstown at giving Londonderry dodge sales guys a ?sweet commission since I'm buying a NEW vehicle not used. I would never recommend them to anyone. I would also like to add that Adam's main concern seemed to be getting the TV back that they gave me during our deal making and that I was apparently distracting Jerry from selling cars...pathetic! More
