In reading these reviews I can see one common denominator. The "up front" sales pitch, selling tactics are WONDERFUL. Pleasant, pleasing, friendly in most cases, all the way through the process o denominator. The "up front" sales pitch, selling tactics are WONDERFUL. Pleasant, pleasing, friendly in most cases, all the way through the process of purchasing new vehicle. Then, they put the keys in your hand!!! And from that time on they wash their hands when it comes to SERVICE. Most recent - my2012 Dodge Ram front seats wore out - threads unravelling turning into holes for the SECOND time. Warrantied great. They ordered the seats then made an appointment a week ahead . I promptly took it in at 7:30 am the day of the "appointment". Done. Only to get a "call" later that day- they hadn't been able to get at it so could they keep it or could I bring it back tomorrow. Same scenarios as in the past over service needs and other warranty work. So it stayed over night even though it is a work truck related to running our business for which they are totally aware. No offer of replacement vehicle for which I will call about in the am..SO BIG QUESTION - WHATS THE POINT OF THE "BOOKING" AHEAD OF TIME................................................ ......Same vehicle a month earlier wouldn't start with the command start. Battery was replaced by me by a professional. Still nothing. Took it to Crestview they took it in. At end of day they advised me - they didn't put those in, it was farmed out at the time we bought it and installed by a "audio" installer so I would have to take it to them. They "offered" to make an appointment for me; for which I almost said stuff it and made my own appointment. But oh; I had to pay my bill for NOTHING DONE...They charged me for a diagnostics test that they knew they couldn't fix anyhow - no matter the results; along with shop time etc.. Our family (7 persons) have bought at the least 6 brand new and 2 used over the past 8 to 10 years all suffered the same treatment when it comes to service. We have enough stories you could probably write a book. The best of my stories is about one of our new vehicles suffered from bad window exterior rubbers. The rubbers collected debris and scratched the glass. They were replaced on warranty twice. Great. But after one installation the speaker in the door fell to the ground when I opened the door where the window had been replaced. Even I know how to use a star screwdriver to replace the speaker properly after taking it apart to get at the window.??? I thought to my self - possibly the rubber needn't have been replaced if it had been put in correctly...Isn't there an old saying - "Do it right the first time...and you won't be doing it over again" One more little tidbit - one day while checking in I was standing at the check-in counter and could see all the way down into the shop bay area. One fellow was backing a car out of a bay; I heard a CLUNK looked over to see the car hit a pillar. More fellows gathered with hands over their mouths - it was an OMG moment. In checking it out, I will never know if there was damage - scratches, little dints etc but I know I do a "walk around" when I pick up my vehicle - from that day on. You know who is the best at his job when it comes to friendliness and super service - THAT IS THE SHUTTLE BUS DRIVERS they are second to none. Go figure, but then again they are the ones that probably hear the most about the poorest of service. Things like "It took a whole day to change a headlight"; "Seat replacements took 2 days", "My vehicle is finally done", "this is the third time that vehicle is in there for the same thing; I hope they get it right this time", "it was in there all day and they can't find out what's wrong"...thank God for the shuttle bus drivers... so i made arrangements to bring in a truck with all the options and colour i was looking for. we agreed on a price. the called me when the truck was in, and to tell me that they made a mistake and it does options and colour i was looking for. we agreed on a price. the called me when the truck was in, and to tell me that they made a mistake and it does not have a sun roof. i was ok with that, but they did not change the price at all. i showed up to pick up the truck, after a quick walk around it appeared to be what i agreed on. so i went to the finance office. she had all the paper work ready to sign. she very briefly went over numbers and was ready for me to sign. i realized the price wasn't what i agreed on, so i questioned it. she had all kinds of extras and insurances thrown in on top of the purchase price with out even asking me if i wanted them. i understand thats how they make there money. but it should be explained and up to the customer if thats what they want. so after that was all straightened out and i was on my way with the truck, i realized the truck did not have navigation like id asked for. so i called and they couldn't get it in for 3 weeks. which is fine. except that i like 150km away. so i had to make a 300km round trip to have this done. when i came in for the work to get done, i bought a set of mud flaps for the truck. when i got home i realized that the front flaps were the wrong ones for my truck. the rear ones worked. so i had to make a second 300km round trip just to exchange them. i fully understand that mistakes happen. but there was a large cost involved to me to make 600km of driving for there mistakes. (with no compensation) my sales man chris was excellent. very polite. and came through with all promises. the sales manager wouldn't even make eye contact when he spoke with me and always seemed like he couldn't be bothered to talk to me. I have been purchasing my vehicles from Crestview since 1984 and once again the team did their very best to help me, meet my budget, priorities and keep me safe on the high my vehicles from Crestview since 1984 and once again the team did their very best to help me, meet my budget, priorities and keep me safe on the highway! Special thanks to Don (once again) for making all of the paperwork easy to complete and understand. I traded in my 2004 Liberty for a brand new, but used, 2014 Patriot and Robert made my afternoon at Crestview not only enjoyable but incredibly fun! Robert is a master at conversation and made my waiting down time very enjoyable! I enjoyed seeing how busy and in demand he was as a salesman - juggling clients while neglecting none of us . . as a 30 year high school educator who deals with young men and women on a daily basis I must say to Crestview . . . Robert Campbell is a tremendous asset to your already amazing dealership. Thanks to Andy for making sure my old Jeep was inspected and valued quickly and efficiently. Overall I was very pleased with the young and enthusiastic sales team that I had the pleasure of dealing with and special thanks to 'old' friend Don for assisting Andy and Robert at the dealership. Andy and Robert met me when I arrived and made today stress free. Today just confirms ..... again . . . why I will only deal with Crestview! Congratulations Crestview and thank you! I already love my new Jeep and I look forward to many years behind the wheel in Jeep style!! :) Alice Dumba Wilcox, SK More
found a truck online and started the process of setting up the financing. Indicated that we would call back on Monday to see if everything was a go. Informed salesman that I would be in to pickup the truck up the financing. Indicated that we would call back on Monday to see if everything was a go. Informed salesman that I would be in to pickup the truck that evening. When we got to the dealership, truck was sitting outside, washed and ready to go. The licensing agent closed at 8, and due to the financing not finalizing? we were given a permit to drive the truck home to midale. Don from finance let us have the truck, based on the numbers and a prior approval that was done 3 months earlier on a new vehicle. Don went out of his way to get the papers signed and the keys in my hand. Don, thanks for being a seasoned veteran (bobby 0rr) and understanding your customer, and the importance of customer service. In todays business environment, it is tough to find someone who takes care of the customer. A word to the owner, do not let him retire anytime soon! mike and bev pickering midale saskatchewan More
