Horrible first time buying a car experience I agree with what the other reviews are saying, this delarship relies on people who don't know any better. I was a first time buyer and had the worst I agree with what the other reviews are saying, this delarship relies on people who don't know any better. I was a first time buyer and had the worst experience ever... I didn't know any better and I paid an outrages amount for my used vehicle.: An amount I'm embarrassed to even post on here what I paid. I can't even tell people how much I paid because its embarrassing. Also the dealer selling me the vehicle lied about its previous owners, the engine, the gas milage and lied about it having blue tooth. I was SO rushed into buying the vehicle.. He told me it was already sold that morning but the deal didn't go through and that it would be sold by the next morning if I didn't buy it now. So my pressure. And on top of the outraged price I paid, he added extra 2,600 dollars worth of extras I didn't want and told me these prices would be removed after all the signing was done??? It was not and I had to have a meeting with the manager after to get that extra 2,600 back. I'm in my early 20s and I didn't know better and they completely took advantage of that. Bottom line... HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience! Will never buy another vehicle there or recommend anyone to go there. Please shop around!!!! More

I decided to go to this dealership because my mom had just a bought a car from there. It took her five days for everything to be done. I went on December 7th, 2013 and test drove a few cars. Put a down p just a bought a car from there. It took her five days for everything to be done. I went on December 7th, 2013 and test drove a few cars. Put a down payment on a car and started some of the paperwork. Shawn was the guy handling the financing. Today is day 33 (Jan. 9th, 2014) and still no car. The financing was finally approved on Jan 4th after dealing with Tracey. The bank needed papers from us that was only told to us when I can everyday to see where we were at. Now I do understand that this is partially the banks fault but Shawn was of no help. He only made an effort to call us once to ask for something. Then took the credit from the work that Tracey did. So finally we get approved and were told we could pick up the car on monday, tuesday by the latest. Shawn tells us to call our insurance and have them put it on the new car as it would be ready the following da. Well because the sales guy wasn't in on tuesday no work got done on the car. Here we are at thursday, I spoke with Joe yesterday to ask when we could pickup, he said tomorrow before 1pm would be fine as I had to go to work and wouldnt be able to go later. It is now 2pm, and the car won't be ready till this afternoon due to an e-test and detailing. I have no insurance on the car that I am trading in and now have no vehicle. I understand these things take time but 33 days to purchase a car in unacceptable. This will be the first & last time that I ever purchase a car from them. More
I was on the market for a 2012 Dodge Charger SXT and after looking at a few local dealers here in London, I saw the add for Countryside Chrysler in Essex which had two of the trims I liked. After confir after looking at a few local dealers here in London, I saw the add for Countryside Chrysler in Essex which had two of the trims I liked. After confirming that the price was within acceptable range, I decided to give them a call. I spoke to a Dan (didn't really bother to remember his last name since I'd rather forget the whole time I wasted going there in the end). To say he sounded aggressive and horrid in terms of customer service experience is an understatement. I took the trip anyways, thought that maybe the impression I got of him over the phone was incorrect. Once I got there, and keep in mind, I had wife and kids with me since we were visiting a friend over in Windsor, the moment I asked whether they'd even consider negotiating the price (since I already had test driven the car multiple times by now and the units they were selling were almost new I wanted to be sure that this guy didn't have the same attitude that he had over the phone), and the answer I got was a firm, downright disrespectful "not even a penny less". Wow, just wow. So that's how you treat a customer that you know already has the funds and is shopping around for the best he can get for the money? That and the attitude that followed made me regret even taking the trip there. The dealers in London are no saints, but at least they have an idea what it means to treat the customer (heck, even if they pretend, its still tons better than talking to someone with such arrogance. Maybe someone should remind him that its the customer that's paying????). I would NEVER even dream of recommending this dealership to anyone. Stay away from them. You want to be treated like a human with respect, go to a bigger city dealership. Trust me, its worth the drive. No wonder the Chrysler dealership in Essex is the smallest out of Chevy and Ford. I'm surprised its actually still open. More
