One would normally not go to Cornwall Nissan to buy a Can-Am Spyder but when I saw one at the dealer a few weeks ago I just couldn’t resist and bought it. Even though it was a 2017 model it looked brand Can-Am Spyder but when I saw one at the dealer a few weeks ago I just couldn’t resist and bought it. Even though it was a 2017 model it looked brand new and in great shape. I dealt with Skyler Berthiaume who was super friendly and very helpful in closing the deal. I highly recommend the dealership. We bought our first Nissan in 2019. Losing end of this deal Went in to purchase a used truck because I was giving my daughter my car to go to University. The truck was reasonably priced for the year and Km. I inspected the truck a couple days before I went to talk to a salesman so I was aware of some of the problems. One problem I noticed when I was inspecting it was there was a hole under the wheel well, one tire was soft and it was recently painted in some areas. I thought to myself if I can get this truck safety and e tested it would serve it's purpose for the next couple of years. So as a guy who works 6 days a week I finally found the time to go in to speak to a salesman. The receptionist veered me to a salesman that was going to look after me. I asked to take it for a test drive and the guy came with me. As we were driving he told me it was safety and e tested and how the people that owned it before couldn't drive anymore ect ect. So we went for a short ride and the truck ran well. No dash lights nice and clean something you would expect from a dealership. So I made an offer he countered and we cam up with a deal safety e tested and plated. Now is when the fun started. I pick up the truck and start driving home I'm about 4 Km from the dealership. Half way tire pressure sensor came on ( to be expected I knew it had a slow leak) hit a Km away from my house and the ABS sensor came on I said to myself ok this thing is going on a scanner as soon as I hit home. I pulled into the driveway went into the garage and grabbed the scanner. I put it on it came up with 2 faulty ABS sensors and a evap sensor. So again talking to myself I wondered if they fix the whole that I had seen a couple days before and to my surprise no. So the next day I called them up and was told to bring it in. After two days of waiting they asked me to come in they had to talk to me ( thanks god my boss is amazing). I went in to talk to the Sales Manager and Garage Manager. The Garage Manager explained to me what the problem was and that it would cost 1000.00 to fix it. So then the Sales Manager tells me that usually they don't sell used vehicles e tested. (If that was the case why does your ads say you do) but what we can do for you is we pay 500 and you pay 500. I was thinking , is this guy for real. So I asked him for my money back and he said he would. It's so unfortunate that companies like this give salesman a bad rep.... More
