My windshield wipers So shocked at my experience here! This dealership clearly does not care about customer service, retention or customer loyalty. My windshield wipers on my GX470 failed. After my initial visit, and the promise of a quote right away, I had to call 2 days later, as I did not hear back. When I did call, they gave me a quote, and told me they would order the parts right away. We set up an appointment for 1 week later. It happened my appointment was on the day of the huge snowstorm, but I made it in, as I need my truck windshield wipers to work in these winter conditions. When I arrived I asked how long the job would take. They said approx. 2.5 hours. They did not have a courtesy car, so I waited in the waiting room. After 2 hours of waiting, an employee informed me that sorry, the parts were not there. I was speechless. I had waited for 2 hours for them to tell me that. I had cancelled my work that day. It gets worse. I asked them what they would do for me. They said they would give me a free oil change! I called 4 days later to find out when the parts might arrive, that I was interested in being a loyal client as I am new to the area. The manager basically told me if I was not happy to go somewhere else. I have been a loyal client of Jim Pattison Toyota Dealership in Victoria for over 10 years, always going for my regular maintenance. They always treated me like family. They would never have treated me like this. I am a successful business owner of over 20 years with a strong background in HR. I have never written a complaint before. But I felt this experience had to be shared. I hope that the poor staff there gets some good leadership soon! The people on the ground I believe are doing their best, its the leadership here I would question. More

From the first call to Comox Valley Toyota, we had good fortune of speaking with Perry Langeler, who treated us with great respect and professionalism. Perry took the time to answer all of our questions and even emailed us info on the sink hole repairs being done on highway 19 at the time. He provided us with an accurate "sight unseen" quote with a trade valuation that was too good to pass up (the numbers were honored later at the time of sale-no runaround or hidden fees here!). When we arrived at the dealership we felt welcomed into a positive and professional atmosphere. Perry had come in on his Saturday off, had everything ready and made sure that our visit was 1st class! James, the sales manager treated us warmly and personally spent some time to add grace and confidence to our experience. Ashley was amazing in the business office...very knowledgeable and friendly. The whole process from "out of town" phone call to delivery was top notch. I didn't find the vehicle I was looking for, but I found a very helpful, knowledgeable, and thorough young salesman. Izik Van Hoof was very patient with all my weird needs for a work vehicle. He tried to help find the right van, answered all my questions with patience and humour, and then when I bought a van somewhere else, he helped with getting it serviced, somewhere else. I hope this dealership realizes what a great guy they have, and do whatever it takes to hang onto him. More
This dealership is nothing but lip service!!!! Bought Tundra they promised leather seats...Had to have the truck done twice as bad service..and my truck was broken into parked on the dealership property. Tundra they promised leather seats...Had to have the truck done twice as bad service..and my truck was broken into parked on the dealership property...Everyone at the time was concerned...I was promised gas cards and a certificate to kingfisher...It has been two months have not heard from dealership and never did receive any certificate or gas cards....Tundra is now due for first service....Will Not Be Dealing with this dealership ever again!!!!!! More
Excellent service! I've always bought my vehicles privately and they were my first time going through a dealership, and they made it absolutely refreshing. Comox Valley Toyota really went above and beyond to ensure my experience was not only satisfactory, but also educational, understanding that I wasn't 100% sure what I was doing. In no way did I feel taken advantage of, despite my inexperience, and they were able to move on the price until I was happy with it. Kyle Rayner was my salesman, and he did a great job using his personal car purchases as a comparison to some of the decisions I should/shouldn't have made. If there are skeptics reading this who think I am naive and got fooled, my dad was there with years and years of dealership-buying experience and he was also very happy with the deal we reached, and with how they treated me. He even talked for quite some time with the business manager about their boats, so the personal connection the dealership reached with us in just a few hours made us happy to have chosen them. Will be back for my next car. More
