The Most Unprofessional Sales People Two weeks ago I walked in with the intention of purchasing a brand new F150. I was interested in a Platinum or a Limited. The sales manager didn't have time to "deal" with me so he passed me off to a new employee, who was very eager, but painfully inexperienced and not familiar with the inventory of the dealership. I was given the keys to a base model truck to test drive. I was told the owner was driving the truck I would be interested in but I would have to come back to look at it because he was gone home for the day. After test driving the truck (at least it had the Ecoboost engine, which I was interested in trying out) I returned the keys only to be asked by the sales manager how "impressed" I was with the truck... I drove in with a Platinum F150 looking to upgrade to a Limited.. and I was given keys to an XLT to test drive... I was not impressed.. They tried to make me feel like I was being treated special, and it was a privilege to have been given the keys to a brand new truck to test drive... No. didn't do it for me. After 3 days of trying to make an arrangement to test drive the vehicle I was interested in.. and getting No response whatsoever, I found another dealer that was more than pleasant and helpful. I purchased my new truck from the other dealer. A 2016 Limited F150 I decided a week later to give Colony another chance. I was looking for a second vehicle. A new 2016/17 Ford Fusion Platinum energi. I went back hoping they would be more helpful. After all they are my "local" dealer. I was treated even worse... I was asked "how much can you or are you going to spend.? I was told I would have to wait, because they were dealing with people they just sold cars to and were busy.. I was told that they would look at my request "later" and would get back to me.. I still haven't heard back. And guess what... I went back to the dealer I bought my truck from, and was treated with respect and class. And professionalism. I bought my second car, a 2017 Fusion Platinum Energi and now I want to drive in to Colony, my husband and I both, with our new vehicles.. walk up to the same manager and quote the amazing line from pretty woman.. " Hi. Remember me... I was in here yesterday.. you didn't want to serve me... well BIG mistake.... HUGE" I just dropped 100k at another dealership.. And ....exit Don't bother with these people. Not until they change their stinking better than thou attitude. Oh ya... and if the president of the company wanted to contact me, to ask why I have such a glowing review... please feel free.. I'd be more than happy to come in and sit down with a cup of coffee and explain to you how customer service is so important.. ALL customers wether buying a fiesta or a fleet of lincolns deserve the same respect... yes. Respect.. that's all. I won't post my personal contact info here of course... that would just be silly on a public domain... but Mr President of Colony Ford Lincoln.. watch your inbox.. Their business practices are disgusting. We were strung along for 2 weeks with a car we were interested in. They never reached out to us proactively and after two weeks of us constantly following up with them about the car, they ended up selling it to a family friend or someone they knew. No heads up, no right of refusal and no apology. We were never offered the option to put a deposit or anything. Downright disgusting. More

They have this form you fill with contact details and they should call you back. This doesn't happen. They did not call me back. So, after a while I called them to request information regarding a new 2016 Ford Edge I am planning to purchase, the sales rep (Who's name sadly I don't remember) took essential information from me promising to get back to me. He did not get back to me either, and so I took my business elsewhere. I saw all the great reviews from previous years, I think something is wrong with your service. It was good once but not anymore. "Luckily" there was the Colony Ford dealership very close by. Unfortunately I lost my kit to change tire and I went to the service counter to ask for help. The lady at the counter said that she couldn't help me for the next 4 days. Then I asked to buy the kit to change tire and the man at the parts counter told me that he wouldn't have the parts for the next three days. Finally I asked if there was a way that I could borrow the proper tools to change the tire myself and they were unable to do it without giving me a reason. The lack of enthusiasm just showed me that they just didn't care. I just couldn't believe that I was at the Ford Lincoln, the company where I bought my F-150 2013 brand new, and I wasn't able to solve a simple problem like that. Really luckily right beside the dealership there was a tiny tire store where they actually new about customer service and they solve my problem in 10 minutes. Finally I could go to work and could make my money to buy a new truck again somewhere else! More

Transition went very smoothly that tells me this is a great team and as a customer didn’t have any trouble. Unlike many service centres, they do not call you to add spurious repairs that are not needed. You are always going to pay more for a basic service at a dealership than at other service centres, but Colony more than make up for this in quality, reliability and customer service. To illustrate the quality of their customer service, the last time I had my car serviced I noticed that there was a slight crack in my windshield when I went to pick up my car. The crack had been noted by the technician doing my service as pre-existing, but I was sure that there was no crack when I had brought the car in that morning. When I went to complain about this, instead of disputing whether or not the crack was their fault, they went to take a quick look at the car, and after just a few minutes wait they said they would replace my windscreen for free within a couple of days. I did not have to ask for this myself or argue with them at all. They suggested it. I got a call the following day saying that they were ready to repair the windscreen, which was even quicker than they said it would be. Given a situation like this, many other service centres would take a long time to resolve a dispute like this, particularly if it is just my word against theirs. Colony values its long-standing relationship with its customers and they will not jeopardize that just to save a few bucks. In short, yes you probably can get a cheaper service, but you won't get a better service for your Ford than at Colony Ford Lincoln. More
