2014 Dodge Ram 3500 warning of limp mode On Sunday, July 23, 2017, at a approximately 11:30 am, 20 KM east of Medicine Hat, Alberta, our truck (2014 Dodge Ram 3500) displayed this warning….8 On Sunday, July 23, 2017, at a approximately 11:30 am, 20 KM east of Medicine Hat, Alberta, our truck (2014 Dodge Ram 3500) displayed this warning….8 km/h Max Service DEF System See Dealer. Which resulted in the truck going into limp mode. At this time our employee called in to us – we are located in Black Diamond, Alberta – 300km away. I then had to take him another truck immediately as a job was waiting on him. He was able to limp the truck into the city of Medicine Hat, where we switched vehicles so he could go to work. I managed to limp it to “City Chrysler” 982 Redcliff Drive SW, Medicine Hat, AB and left it parked at the front doors approximately at 4:00 pm, and dropped of the keys in your envelope – with a long explanation, and of where I would be staying in Medicine Hat. I returned to your dealership service department when they first opened in the morning and spoke to Service Advisor, Curtis Petrick, and the mechanic. They were able to get the truck in right away, which was a relief. When I returned at 11am – the repair had been completed! The [problem was caused by a failed part that was on recall. Fortunately you folks have a great relationship your colleagues at another dealership in town and were able to procure a part from them and accomplish the fix required. I really appreciated the excellent customer service I received from Curtis, the mechanic, and the rest of the staff. They were all very accommodating to my situation, friendly and knowledgeable. Arrogant unbelievably rude General sales Manager. Went to purchase a new Grand Caravan. Dealer didn't have what we wanted but assured us they could get us what we wanted from another dealer. Brought in TWO WRONG vehicles that were not equipped with the options we had specifically asked for. The sales manager became very rude when we would not take the last vehicle because it was wrong. Made phone calls threatening legal action against us for my bad review on their Facebook page and breached my confidentiality to his friends and other colleagues regarding personal aspects of our transactions with the dealership. This sales manager continues to harass myself and other customers who leave negative reviews on the companies Facebook page. Highly unprofessional. More
