From unsafe junker to dazzling safety superstar! On Jan. 31st 2015; My fiancé and I came to Chilliwack not expecting to be able to afford a new car. Our Saturn that we previously owned we felt On Jan. 31st 2015; My fiancé and I came to Chilliwack not expecting to be able to afford a new car. Our Saturn that we previously owned we felt was very unsafe having two children in the back. Nadine really worked her magic to get us to come down and take a look around. There was no pressure to try or get into models that we did not like she did everything in her power to get us everything on our wish list for a new vehicle. My fiancé & I settled on a 2012 Passat that Nadine had shown us. Once we said Yes we dealt with Augest the finance manager/department. My fiance and I have always thought we never had good credit. We voiced our concerns to her and she was able to also work her magic and give us some helpful tips and advice on finance management. We didn't feel intimidated or looked down upon because of our income & past credit reports. I left her desk with a renewed sense of empowerment and optimism. My fiancé and I were shocked when they said we were getting in our new car right away! Having kids our Saturn was a wreck on the inside! They assured us it was no biggie. Nadine has since followed up with us 3 times and just informed me today that we get to keep some additional things that we thought were going to need to be removed! This is our first ever new car and we are so glad we chose Chilliwack Volkswagen. my car buying nightmare turned into a dream I mistakingly went to another dealer because i thought that the vehicle i purchased was the one i wanted....i was very wrong! I had a horrendous expe I mistakingly went to another dealer because i thought that the vehicle i purchased was the one i wanted....i was very wrong! I had a horrendous experience with another dealership in town and the nightmare got worse! A friend suggested i go to CHWK VW...i did ..and best decision i could ever make! Everything about my experience at VW was incrediable..the customer sercice was outstanding! No pressure and told me the straight facts!..and best of all..they stand behind their vehicle..and I feel i now own a realiable excellent vehicle..loving my VW. The drive is awesome, the car is made for me, all my family and friends are impressed, and i love taking my wheels for a ride with a smile on my face everytime...no worries no stress no second guessing. Now i will be that friend to others that can say Hey..you looking to buy a new car...you just have to check out VW. Kudos to all...cant say thank you enough for changing my nightmare into a dream!! More

Inital buying exp was pleasant, not so much thereafter Bought a used 2010. Our initial buying experience was pleasant however that quickly changed when going into the dealership to sign paperwork. The indi Bought a used 2010. Our initial buying experience was pleasant however that quickly changed when going into the dealership to sign paperwork. The individual in finance was rude and offensive in many ways and not willing to apologize; we actually had to deal with another finance person. Had to go back to the dealership 4 times to provide many of the needed documents needed to close the sale that should have been taken care of in the beginning. Given the hours of operation and our work schedule, we weren't unable to make it down to the dealership right away. We made arrangements to leave work early and made it in on Monday. Within this time, we received numerous text messages threatening "if we can't get this done there is no funding the car comes back unfortunately that's the end result if I can't get this submitted tomorrow" in my opinion, all documents should have been acquired and ready the day we bought the car, To add to the dissatisfaction, when we picked up our new car it was dirty and hadn't been detailed. The car also has MANY problematic issues from defective intermitted wiper sensor to not starting at random times. Dash sensor lights coming on for no reason, clutch issues, the list goes on. After a meeting with the sales manager listing all the problems that are arising with our new purchase, I was told our car would be going into service "tomorrow" to address these problems and I would receive a call from the service manager. After making arrangements to have the car that day, unfortunately, I did not receive any correspondence from the sales manager or dealership until 3 days later despite voicemails and text messages. Once speaking to the sales manager, he questioned why I was requesting to have the car brought to service; he said a safety inspection was done on the car and there shouldn't be any problems. I thought the same myself. I was disappointed to hear the dealership wouldn't get me to fix the problems until 3.5 weeks after the initial purchase of the car! My appointment is today, hoping the experience is far better than previous and we can leave satisfied and get that warm fuzzy feeling back of buying a new car.To be continued... More
