Turn of events : Update Met Terry May 11th, 2017 outside the dealership of Chilliwack volkswagon . Took my time and got to know him as a person . No pressure to buy and he Met Terry May 11th, 2017 outside the dealership of Chilliwack volkswagon . Took my time and got to know him as a person . No pressure to buy and he pointed out a deal that seemed to fit just right. I felt a bit betrayed by Volkswagon in a previous buy I made with Volkswagon but I was reassured that the Emissions program set forth by Volkswagon themselves would resolve in my favor . So far so good and waiting now for the finalization of the court order. UPDATE: JULY 25TH/2017. Well I said I would get back to you on the settlement of the court order of the diesel VW that I traded and to my dismay and after what I thought was a good negotiation process, I am so sorry to report that I was not given the straight facts. I was told one thing by lady who said she represented Rice Point and I found out later from Rice Point themselves, they don't even know her . She told me that Rice Point needed another document signed called "Power of Attorney "or I would not receive my money . The car was already gone and I felt no other recourse but to sign so that I could get my money . ( over 10 $k). I complained many times to have this resolved because I did not want to be responsible for any dealings with the car after I signed it over to them . After being promised that this would get fixed legally from Chilliwack Volkswagon , I have yet to hear back from them . Representation for the emissions program buy back with trade in is sketchy because of the POA you are forced to sign even after Rice Point told me every thing was in order as far as the paper work was concerned . I don't know who this lady was and when I called her to resolve this issue with her (a recommendation made to me over the phone by Rice Point), I was rudely dismissed by her and never did find out the company she represented . I will now be escalating this to make sure my name is safe and I am not held liable for anymore of VW'S DISHONEST PRACTICES through their Emmissions court proceedings . As a consumer I would heartily suggest that you find out who this lady is and make serious inquiries into who she works for. Something is not right here and I will get to the bottom of this . So sorry Terry but your company and I will never do business again. I am totally upset that the promises made to me where not kept in trying to resolve this major issue . I tried in good faith . Update : August 9th, 2017 . I have spoken to the car manager of this car lot a few times now . I was told first that I would have a print out saying that there would be no legal recourse against me and the POA was ONLY for the transfer of my vehicle's ownership . I was told that the vehicle would destroyed and made into a pop can . Now common sense would dictate that if the vehicle was to be destroyed then , there would be no need for power of attorney to be signed . I will not let go of this until I know what is going to be done with that car that I signed (forced to sign) power of attorney to. .Before this event I was called in to Chilliwack Volkswagen and they said they had a paper for me that would settle the issue . It was only part a copy of the Rice Point settlement agreement and did not deal with the P.O.A at all . I communicated I was not happy with the process so far and I was told I would get a call from The TDI Emissions person in charge . I waited and waited for this call and Zero , nothing happened . So last night I received a call from Chilliwack Volkswagen and was told that I did not deserve the courtesy of this phone call and that I had to email them instead . I asked for the correspondence of the email from the rep who wanted me to email him/her and I was told this would not be an issue . Still nothing . Now , I am now expected to chase down a rep myself by email instead of the having the Emissions people contact me back . Until this day , I have not seen the email correspondence nor have I been contacted by any representative in the TDI emissions settlement program . We are batting 1000% when it comes to any resolve here . Thank you VW for keeping me on my toes and helping me sleep at night . I was told as well that I could seek legal advice at my own expense in this issue . Is this how we speak to customers without any words towards resolve ? UPDATE; August 11th/17. Still nothing zero ... I was told that a corresponding email would be sent to me from chilliwack vw in the interest of fairness. It has not been done period . It am told to email some lawyer directly and how am I supposed to know who I am emailing unless I can see some type of corresponding emails that are being addressed to the concerns I have not only for myself but to those who have been affected by this type of duress. More

A team that goes to bat for you I broke down on the Coquihalla and was towed to Chilliwack VW by VW roadside assistance. Evan was amazing from the get go, and he did everything to ma I broke down on the Coquihalla and was towed to Chilliwack VW by VW roadside assistance. Evan was amazing from the get go, and he did everything to make sure I could get to my weekend vacation that day lending me a car from the dealership. Not only that, but my breakdown ended up being quite severe and convoluted. Again Evan was on my side to advocate for me in order to get the best possible outcome. He went above and beyond, and helped me much more than I ever would have expected. I'm completely blown away by his help and support through this process, and I'm left feeling extremely grateful and appreciative. The entire team of people I've worked with at Chilliwack VW through this breakdown and the TDI recall process have been fantastic. Large corporations, and other VW dealerships/service centres have much to learn from the level of customer service provided by the folks at Chilliwack VW. I highly recommend this VW location to anyone looking for a highway breakdown fix, regular service centre, or a new car. More

High priced local dealer Chilliwack VW is consistently overpriced on new VW's, 4 yrs ago by $4,000 on a new Golf wagon, currently $1,400 on a new Tiguan. Not sure why anyone would purchase a car here, there are many VW dealers a short drive away that offer much better prices on new VW's. It is quite easy to connect via the internet so I am not sure how Chilliwack VW sells cars. More
