Going the extra mile As I have done often before, I was mounting my winter tires and rims in prep for a necessary mountain trip the next morning. Late afternoon, I had 3 As I have done often before, I was mounting my winter tires and rims in prep for a necessary mountain trip the next morning. Late afternoon, I had 3 wheels remounted, when one rear wheel would not come loose. This was not the first time I encountered this, but none of my previous tricks were successful. In desperation I phoned Chilliwack VW Service, explained my dilemma. It was 20 minutes to closing. I live 20 minutes away. They agreed to wait and help me. Dashing across town with one odd wheel still in place, the front doors were still opened when I pulled in. I was so grateful for the help of Andrew Koreman. "no problem" he said. "Where's your car parked?" He took my keys, moved the car into the bay, and came back in about 12 minutes. "All done" he said. As I was going to the counter to pay the bill, he added, "no charge." I was more grateful than words can say. A thousand thanks. No wonder this is my 4th VW...three Golfs and one Beetle! More
