Never buy or get service from chenier. I recently went in to look at buying what would have been my second vehicle from them. Right from the start the sales person began arguing with me I recently went in to look at buying what would have been my second vehicle from them. Right from the start the sales person began arguing with me about the features I had in my truck saying that they didn’t make my truck with those seats. Keep in mind I bought the truck straight off the lot in 2019. Then began to say I must have special ordered the truck. I did not I bought it off the lot. Anyways I was ready to move passed this disagreement and was still interested in at least getting a price on a truck. Ram has recently come out with their eTorque 1500 and I was curious as to what it was. I specifically asked if it was a type of hybrid and the response was “no it’s regenerative braking to charge the battery.” So I my head if it’s in no way a hybrid and used this to charge the battery I asked if it still had an alternator or if this replaced it? “No still has an alternator” is the response I got. So what’s the point? “It just helps charge” is the response I got. I left completely confused and did a quick Google search to find that the eTorque IS a mild hybrid! When over 50% of your vehicles on the lot are this eTorque I would think you should know what it is! Customer service was horrible, and warranty work is horrible, the staff aren’t knowledgeable and overall just a horrible experience every time I go in. I wish I never bought my truck from them in the first place. I have nothing bad to say about Ram and all the blame is on Chenier. If you are looking at buying any jeep, dodge, ram, or Chrysler I highly recommend going to matheson. Not as big of a lot but friendly staff, great atmosphere, and overall much better experience with them. More

we bought 3 rams from Chenier motors never had good service except for when Jason was still there. Now we bought one from Superior Dodge in Sault Ste Marie the sale person there is awesome. We bought extended warranty to make sure any Mopar garage would be able to service it anywhere... Chenier motor here in Timmins they say our truck is not under warranty because we got a lift kit installed by a Mopar garage in the Sault... like really Chenier wake up and give customer service like your suppose too. we will never buy from them ever again. or get any kind of service done at Chenier's. the owners don't seem to care and the employees don't seem to care either More

Do not buy here They are friendly and get you great payments and a “good rate” unless you have a trade in. Chenier Motors is a nightmare dealership I would not buy from this dealership or use them to repair your vehicle, we bought a new 2017 Ram 1500 in December 2017 paid to have a spray in liner I would not buy from this dealership or use them to repair your vehicle, we bought a new 2017 Ram 1500 in December 2017 paid to have a spray in liner put in , they shipped the truck to Moose Factory without the liner, when we called and told them they didn't put liner in , they said no problem bring it back and we will do the work , their mistake and they did not reimburse any of our travel money , out of pocket over $1000 to get from Moose Factory to Timmin's , they offered to refund our gas money but never did never mind the hotel costs we incurred due to their mistake. Also salesman said oh yes warranty will be covered in Moose factory no problem , 17000 km on truck 2 cv shafts already needed. Charge was $706.08 parts an labour at the only garage in Moosonee , call Chenier after being told they only cover $389 , their response ya sorry if you would have had it done here it would have been free but you had it done in Moosonee so not our problem we will credit you account for future parts $150. STAY AWAY PEOPLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More

Stay Away from Mike! I took a 100$ flight to save $8000 Since 2010 I have purchased 3 vehicles from Chenier Motors. Buy Local we say! Went in for a quote on a 2019 RAM In October - Mike was so excited to Since 2010 I have purchased 3 vehicles from Chenier Motors. Buy Local we say! Went in for a quote on a 2019 RAM In October - Mike was so excited to tell me about the 12" screen and the "stay in your lane" features. When I explained that I wanted a custom-built truck, he DID take the time to email me a quote - so I'll give him that. I got a comparative quote from PEEL Chrysler in Mississauga, and the truck was $8000 less. When I asked Mike if he could work his price a little, he said he needed to see a VIN to believe me - the quote wasn't enough, knowing that VIN's are only provided when a vehicle is ordered. He told me to "Do him a favor" - "Google the name of the dealership you're considering plus the word Nightmare". I did just that - I googled "Chenier Motors Nightmare" I didn't expect him to price match, but a little honestly and working his price might have gotten the deal. I guess making a little bit of money and keeping a loyal client wasn't important this time. My only regret is that it took 3 vehicles for me to learn that this dealership's prices are way out to lunch. More

Dream Quickly Turned Nightmare I purchased a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sahara brand new several years ago from this dealership, jeeps have always been my favorite and it was truly a dream I purchased a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sahara brand new several years ago from this dealership, jeeps have always been my favorite and it was truly a dream for me to be able to afford and own a new wrangler. Not long after purchase I began to have performance issues and leaks in the freedom top. These were repeatedly brought up to the service dept who either threw "computer updates" at my jeep or didn't listen/acknowledge the complaint. After several visits to the dealer (that is hours away) the problems got way worse to the point that I had inches or water sitting on the floor of my vehicle and evidence of electrical malfunction due to water damage, they took it back and had it for over 3 months...great should be fixed now right? It has been 3 months since that time and the jeep is still leaking and has constant error codes popping up oil pressure sensors.....oxegen sensors......crank shaft timing sensors.......good thing the 3+ months they had it basically took me to the end of my warranty cause now im on the hook to fix this waterlogged piece of junk Bottom line don't go there period......I have no experience with any other dealer so cant speak to that.....but I will never buy a Chrysler product again ever because of this experience. More

AVOID sales person named MIKE - no matter what sadly, I was directed to Mike from Chenier Motors - the intention I had was to acquire a RAM 1500 pick up truck on an unbelievably incredible Lease De sadly, I was directed to Mike from Chenier Motors - the intention I had was to acquire a RAM 1500 pick up truck on an unbelievably incredible Lease Deal offered by RAM. The initial meeting was nice, but short lived. He was rude, he was dishonest, and I imagine the reason for it is because I am a woman... Lucky for me, I am well versed in deals, and when he began to tack on fee after fee, and contradict numbers in the agreement, telling me he couldn't get the the lease deal because somehow I was mistaken on the vehicle...well, lets just say our emails became heated, and that Mike quickly became highly unprofessional. Please - if you want a RAM vehicle - call Val Alberts in Kapuskasing - Findlays in Matheson - stay far away from Mike @ Chenier's in Timmins More

Disrespect I tried again, for a 2nd year in a row, but that salesman, Mike, at Chenier Motors, really needs an attitude adjustment. I was greeted with a pleasant hello then immediately treated as if I can't afford to buy what they sell. He belittled me, was short with his answers and confusing me with the information he did provide. It was painful just to get a test drive out of him. He even tried to sell me on a less expenisive option by printing out the $$ comparison on two different vehicles. And, the price is what it is "right from the manufacturer" I was told. Yeah, ok! It's unfortunate that one person can spoil a company's name like that! When will Chenier's make a change, I wonder? BTW, I did buy a Jeep...but not from them! :) More
