1 Review of Charlottetown Toyota
My wife and I were expecting our third child and we needed a minivan. We went to Charlottetown Toyota to look for a new or used Sienna. They were sold out of both, but we saw a used Grand Caravan on needed a minivan. We went to Charlottetown Toyota to look for a new or used Sienna. They were sold out of both, but we saw a used Grand Caravan on the lot. The advertised price was excellent and it was in great shape so we called and spoke with Jamie MacKinley. We went for a test drive and liked it, but there was a rattle from underneath. He suggested that if we liked it to put in an offer and it would be conditional on them fixing the rattle. They fixed the rattle and we bought the van. The rattle came back a day later. We spoke to jamie and he said bring it in. Long story short, the rattle got fixed after a few attempts - (they even took it to a Dodge dealership to make sure it was done right!). The dealership held their end of the bargain with NO hassle and Jamie bent over backwards to make sure we were happy, and we are..with the van, Jamie, and the dealership. That is how car buying should be! I usually don't bother writing reviews, but I read dozens while doing my own research on vans and dealerships and my last purchase of a Mazda in Halifax left me very disappointed with car dealerships, so I felt I should write this to help others who may be reading these too. I will also add, they didn't try to hide any additional costs, there were no surprises went I went to buy the van. The finance guy (sorry don't remember his name) didn't try to hide or strong arm us on any "additional warranties" or "undercoating" or any of the other crap they tried to slip in at the Halifax Mazda dealership. Very refreshing. I recommend you give them a try and I hope your experience is as positive as ours was. We will be back for a Sienna once our kids stop spilling milk and leaving timbits all over the seats and floors :-) More
