She kept returning to the Auto Park site, as they seemed to have the best local selection of vehicles in her price range. She visited the dealership one Sunday afternoon and Ken encouraged her to test drive three different cars - one of which she even brought by the house for me to see. After some additional research and talking, we booked a date for both if us to come in and talk with Ken. In his unassuming way, Ken made us feel very comfortable. He listened and asked us the right questions about what we really wanted. When we inquired about the car's history, etc. he was straightforward in his answers and promised only what he was prepared to deliver. Within the hour, he had guided us into making a final choice we were comfortable with, obtained our down payment and had entered all the info needed to complete sale, promising delivery in just two days. When we returned to sign the final papers, Ken took time from another sales call to assist us and then introduced us to Jackie in finance. Once we were done there, Ken greeted us with the two sets of keys and the owners’ manual he had promised, and personally transferred our old plates to our new car. While we had come in well prepared and were ready to buy, Ken was experienced enough to recognize that and not, as has happened elsewhere, try to force us into something we did not want. He gave us the straight facts, delivered on all that he'd promised and sent us off with a sincere smile and a wave. And when neighbours and friends ask where we got the new wheels, both my wife and I will happily say 'Go to Auto Park. Ask for Ken. He'll take good care of you.' More
Gouged. I called to book a service appointment for a warranty issue. I got in 6 days later and told them what had been found by another garage, and that I sp I called to book a service appointment for a warranty issue. I got in 6 days later and told them what had been found by another garage, and that I spoke with the warranty people who advised me that my problem would be covered. I was informed that the Service Dept. was not in the habit of doing repairs without a $50 diagnostic being performed, and that most likely, it would be covered under the warranty. Well, it wasn't... I was informed by phone later that day, that there would also be a $90 deductible for my warranty work. Finally, when I was able to pick my car up the following day, I was told that fluids were not covered in my warranty, even though the Warranty I purchased from Dane clearly said they were covered. In closing, I was without my car for 2 days, and I ended up paying over $200 for a rear axle seal that could've been done at another garage in less than 2 hours... I was serviced alright... Right up the wazzoo... More
