Wonderful experience with the salesman Lance, very friendly and helpful, unfortunately went downhill after that. Was NOT disclosed the vehicle we JUST purchased had been in an accident when confronted friendly and helpful, unfortunately went downhill after that. Was NOT disclosed the vehicle we JUST purchased had been in an accident when confronted with this was given the run a round, then agreed to bring truck back for a refund, yet to receive that refund and dealing with Luke ask for progress reports and get nothing, 3 calls made not answered and no return calls, TERRIBLE customer service when they were in the wrong!! Definitely would NOT trust this place as they do NOT disclose information they are required to by law and then receive the vehicle back 2 days ago and have not received refund OR answers as to when that will happen. Could have at LEAST kept us somewhat happy by phoning and updating us on status instead of ignoring us. Other than the salesman having no good experience with anyone else. Hopefully they work on their honesty, disclosure and customer service!! More
When it came time to consider a newer vehicle, I did some research and asked friends for their opinion of dealerships. I had gone online to check out some used cars. I had heard about Carsco from friends a research and asked friends for their opinion of dealerships. I had gone online to check out some used cars. I had heard about Carsco from friends and decided to go and check them out. I had a look at their website and picked out a couple of cars that I was interested in. I stopped in on a Friday evening to look around. Scott was the first salesman I talked with. He brought my two choices to the door so I could look at them and compare. He let me take my time and answered my questions. . Saturday morning I returned with my husband and Luke was the salesman we dealt with that day. He found out all the history on the vehicle for us and let us take it for a test drive. When we made our decision to purchase the vehicle he did the paperwork for us. Joseph was the fellow we talked with about financing and he put in our information for getting a loan for the vehicle. When they heard back it was Emily that we dealt with to finalize the paperwork and purchase. Ann Marie is the warmest receptionist I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. All in all every person we dealt with was professional and so helpful. The only negative comment that I have is my husband would have liked to go out onto the lot and looked at some other cars but the salesmen said that it was icy and they didn't want us to get injured. My husband and I both work outside and we know of the dangers of ice and would have been careful. It would have been nice to check out the other vehicles on the lot. Everyone was a pleasure to work with. Very informative and knowledgeable and I do believe we got a good deal. More
The vehicle was as advertised. There was no pressure to buy. They were open to answering questions. Having the Carproof and mechanical documents completed was helpful. It was also great that they allowed a buy. They were open to answering questions. Having the Carproof and mechanical documents completed was helpful. It was also great that they allowed a third party mechanical inspection to occur prior to buying. They also worked hard at completing/fixing complaints. The price was great. More
The quality of work on the cars at Carsco is incredible, as is their quality of service, and the level of friendliness I received from the dealership in question was top-notch. Getting in the door, chatting as is their quality of service, and the level of friendliness I received from the dealership in question was top-notch. Getting in the door, chatting with the ever-knowledgeable Luke, and signed off on financing with Joseph only took an hour or two - getting the vehicle on the road only took a few days, all told, with help from Emily and Anne Marie. I would definitely recommend Carsco if a used car is the goal; just be prepared for a few minor flaws in regards to the car itself. Inspection reports shown in advertisements (at least that I looked at) tend to show that rear tires have excess, though non-lethal, tread wear as opposed to the front tires (I'm fully expecting to have to replace the tires within six months), exterior cleaning jobs are slightly below average - though the interior cleaning job was incredible; I still have yet to clean anything! - and buyers might have to grab an owners' manual for their newly acquired vehicle online like I had to do. All told, those flaws are something of a minor inconvenience, but not a fatal one; indeed, they're more than offset by the quality of customer service, the excellent prices (getting a 2013 equivalent of the Ford I got would have been nearly three times the cost), and the mechanical condition of the vehicles, which is top-notch. If getting a well-worn, slightly used car is the goal and you're anywhere near Airdrie at all, I certainly recommend Carsco - their speed and quality of service as well as the excellent mechanical condition of their vehicles more than makes up for any hiccups. We are extremely happy with the service we received from all individuals at Carso. Thank you for a great car purchasing experience! Just picked up my Infinite FX35 from Carsco and cannot wait to write this review! My experience has been excellent! Noticed Carsco's ad at kijiji and checked their websites. Although it is a new dealer wait to write this review! My experience has been excellent! Noticed Carsco's ad at kijiji and checked their websites. Although it is a new dealership and located in Airdrie (I'm in living in Calgary), I figured why not, just give it a try. The service has been great from the start, Peggy is the one who showed me the vehicle first and she is super friendly. There's no salesman's talk at all, just let us try it out ourselves. Luke is the sales manager there and is also very accommodating, a very decent guy. I met the owner Don briefly and chatted a little bit, very honest man and he told me they gonna have their grand opening in mid Sep, which is the coming Saturday as this is written. I got quite a list of things that I want them to fix and they are very accommodating and took care of almost everything. With the price I paid for the car, I felt that they probably won't make much money on this one. I'm sure as a new dealership, they want to establish the reputation first so they don't mind going extra mile to make their customer happy! Even the finance department is great! I dealt with Joseph and Emily both, although they need to go through all the add-ons, extended warranty etc. as any other financial departments, there's not much upsale that push you to buy any of these stuff, which is a plus for me as well. When I went there and picked up my car today, I found it is well detailed and everything I want them to fix has been done professionally. I am very very satisfied, and I definitely walked out Carsco with a big smile! So guys, check this dealership out, you won't be disappointed! I'm sure if they can maintain their standard of doing the business, they will become the go-to place in a few years! More
Originally I thought Carsco was a pretty decent company. I bought a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan from them at a fair price. My wife drove the van home and she tells me 'the steering wheel seems to be 'not straight' and it pulls to the left'. I bring it back to them twice and they are unable to fix it so they tell me to bring it to Tower Chrysler MYSELF and I do this. Three times. Finally they fix the steering issue and that is great. During this time, the van starts to get a grinding noise in the front end. This is still during the 30 day "I can return the van for another one" time period. I tell Carsco and they take a look at the brakes and are unable to fix it. I was told by Carsco the van had new pads and the rotors had been machined. Keep this in mind. It's important later. Once again they direct me over to Tower Chrysler so I stupidly drive it over there and Tower Chrysler looks at it 3x and they are unable to resolve the grind. This drags on for months and by now my 30 day 'this car sucks' warranty which I paid $480 or whatever to Carsco is a distant memory. I dealt with Brice and although he did seem to want to help us out, it did not seem like he was overly willing to put money in to fix the issue. He was happy to have his guy swap out the tires because they felt the tires might have been causing the grind (strange but OK, I'll go with that...what other option do i have?) Once again I drive up to Carsco from McKenzie Towne and they put the other tires on. Nope, grind is still there. I tell Brice "I'm done with this vehicle. It's given me nothing but issues since the beginning. I was stupid to not just hand you back the keys at 29 days becuase I honestly thought you were going to resolve the issue. I want to give you this back and get another vehicle' He reponds with 'your van is worth $14000.' I paid $15900 for it and it has 4000 km on it. So basically he wanted to gut me $2K for a van he sold me that had issues from the beginning. I finally thought to myself I'm going to just throw some new ceramic brakes on the van and see if that fixes it. Otherwise I'll eat the $2K just to get out of this van which both Carsco and Tower Chrysler could not fix. Issue resolved. THANK GAWD!! REMEMBER - Carsco told me this vehicle had new pads and machined rotors. The pads were half used during the 4000km I drove it. HAHA.....OK, sure. I emailed Brice letting him know that the van had bad brakes and I have not heard back from him in a week. I agree with the other people on here that the initial feeling you get from this company is good. Buying the vehicle is good. But if the vehicle exhibits problems you have nowhere to turn. You go to Carsco and they pay a dealer to try and fix your issue. If that doesnt work you are screwed. IF THE VEHICLE YOU PURCHASE SHOWS ANY ISSUES, HAND IT BACK TO THEM OR YOU WILL END UP STUCK WITH IT. THE VAN i BOUGHT WAS A RENTAL. ASK THEM IF IT WAS EVER A RENTAL AND IF IT WAS - DO NOT BUY IT. I will not be dealing with this company again. 100% More
Scott Glover is an excellent salesperson. We really enjoyed our experience with him. Joseph was excellent in explaining everything related to the financing and final delivery of the vehicle.
