We were met by Brittany, who accompanied us with the test drive. Brittany was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful throughout our drive. She explained the various features of the vehicle and answered all our questions without hesitation. We decided to purchase the Malibu, and the entire purchase experience was very pleasurable. The entire experience was reminiscent of our previous small town dealings, where a handshake sealed a person's intentions, something that we have observed diminishing in large City business dealings. It was apparent that the people at Capital were clearly working as a team, and all went out of their way to earn our business, and ensure that we were happy with every aspect of our buying experience. We have purchased several vehicles from a variety of dealerships in the past, and dealing with Capital GMC Buick was, by far, was the nicest and most relaxing buying experience to date. Bad then good on factory order sierra 3500 diesel When I walked into the dealership I was looking, not buying, but when the price given to me with all the options and accessories was lower than I expe When I walked into the dealership I was looking, not buying, but when the price given to me with all the options and accessories was lower than I expected I couldn't ignore it. (Waited 12 weeks for my new ride with little to no updates from the dealership, 1st sign of trouble.)( 10 weeks before my truck arrived a new sales person took over, due to the original sales person left or was told to leave, 2nd sign of trouble.) (People come and go, but I wasn't thinking my price would come and go, 3rd sign of trouble) My biggest mistake was I couldn't find my original quote, and due to phone problems couldn't retrieve my text messages, word of mouth means nothing now a days. Renegotiated a price was higher but had no vehicle and been waiting 10 weeks. Truck came in, but wait that's not what I ordered! The interior is the wrong leather color, Houston we have a problem!! After losing hours of sleep over this entire deal; what were my options. Leave and ask for my deposit back or see what they will do for me. This is where the story turns good, they said they would do a custom leather interior, or another factory order, I chose another factory order. Can't beat factory leather seats. So here we go again for round two, and a new salesman; Carlos. 12 weeks again but with Carlos keeping me in the loop the entire time, the 12 weeks go fast. I truly believe Carlos is honest and good natured which makes him an outstanding salesman. HE ALONE, made me like this dealership again. Capital GMC had some internal problems, but I'm glad that they wanted to make it right. Have not dealt with their other salesman but if you want a straight shooter ask for Carlos Garcia and he'll make your purchasing a good experience. Love the new truck only took 6 months. LOL. More

I was expecting the usual painful experience that it normally is at car dealerships.I was totally suprised that at this dealership the way they operate seemed to be different. The salesman I had was Mustafa Oweida. He was smart,freindly and most importantly ,honest .Even when it came time for the dreaded negotiiations on price, Mustafa made it quick and simple. No numerous trips back and forth to the managers office .In the end, I got the vehicle I wanted, in new condition,at a good price and was very happy with the service Mustafa provided. More
Time for an Upgrade - 2015 Terrain and 2015 Sierra Wow! Do dealerships out there still make the effort to sell vehicles without making you feel like you did the wrong thing afterwards? The answer is.....there is only ONE in this city - Capital GMC Buick! I won't lie, we were around to many dealerships looking to do a possible upgrade for both of our vehicles. However, we were a bit of an emotional sale for two reasons; first, we were really attached to our beautiful Mustang Convertible, and second, we were finally payment free on both of our vehicles! However, it was time to be practical and find two vehicles better suited to our changing climate here in Alberta. And hey, who doesn't like getting something new and improved with that new car smell, right? Anyway, after shopping many brands at multiple dealerships in Edmonton, and finally coming to terms with our budget, what we wanted to do, and how we wanted to do it, there was only one dealership who really went to bat for us. When we walked through the doors at Capital GMC Buick, the face of the dealership for us was Mustafa Oweida. We're not so naive to believe that sales staff don't have a job to do, and that it isn't a difficult one for them, but Mustafa was so far beyond what we ever expected out of a sales agent. Of ALL the dealerships that we visited, he was the only person to take the few minutes to really hear us out and get a genuine feel for what we were looking for. I mean, the guy REALLY went to bat for us!! The entire deal was very transparent, clear, and understandable. None of this trying to hide extra profits or value in a "monthly payment that you are comfortable with". I know where every dollar was spent, and holy cow, I can even understand the sales contract for the very first time in my life!!! All that being said, our experience here was incredible. Right from the moment we walked through the door and were greeted by Mustafa (this kid is really going places!!), through the finance process, and right up until we drove off in our two new vehicles! They made it happen and we couldn't be happier with the excellent service we received and our new trucks. Michelle Soupal is an AMAZING salesperson, extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and was available to answer any questions or update me, regardless of whether she was even at work. She was willing to come in on her day off for a vehicle assessment, and was always went completely above and beyond in every aspect of our experience. They matched the price of our second truck with one at a different dealership, no question, no games. Dealing with Michelle was like buying a vehicle from a good friend, at no point did it feel like the typical 'assembly line style' of sales that just want you through the system so they can move on to the next one. Sydney Jones worked financial magic, our scenario was complex due to my husbands self employment, and although we thought we may not get the approval because of it, he pulled through and made it happen, we were approved and he even managed to get one of the banks to drop out interest rate. The parts department was also very knowledge able and helpful in selecting accessories for my truck, and I expect that my experience in service when they are installed will be top notch as well. Everyone I encountered during the whole process and all my visits to the dealership were very friendly and helpful, Michelle and Sydney are superstars and we would recommend them to anyone looking to buy a new vehicle! More
