Got a "certified" pre-owned truck off this place for close to $30k. Came with mechanical inspection stating truck was A-OK all good and mechanically sound. First day I picked it up I had no windshield w close to $30k. Came with mechanical inspection stating truck was A-OK all good and mechanically sound. First day I picked it up I had no windshield washer due to pump not working. Had to schedule to bring it in for repair next day. That next day and first cold start it sounds like an old farm truck and super loud. Bring it in for the pump repair and inspection and in a couple days they replace the pump and again they say nope all good perfect working order. After a bit of listening to the cold start its clear something is very wrong. Take in for 2nd opinion at a different shop and yup both exhaust manifolds are cracked. Bring it back to capital gmc and they do finally admit yes cracked manifolds. They have it a couple days and call me saying their techs are not capable of doing the repair so shipping the truck to another dealership. Capital gmc pay for the cost of the repairs on the truck nor did they offer any kind of compensation or anything to make it right, so had to go through the extended warranty I purchased for the truck. The inspection also stated tires were at 50%. After proper inspection its clear tires are done and worn right to the markers..... now saving for new tires. In the first 35 days I owned the truck it spent 16 of those days in the shop for repairs. I 100% would not recommend Capital Gmc for a used vehicle and if you do for some weird reason have to go to them DONT trust their mechanical report!!!! Take it to a 3rd party for inspection. More
