I am a 30+ year customer and these guys keep "Dropping the Ball"...."Poor Quality of repairs and No warranty for their work"!... I took my Cadillac to them for service because my back wheels were squeaki the Ball"...."Poor Quality of repairs and No warranty for their work"!... I took my Cadillac to them for service because my back wheels were squeaking. I was told my car needed a back brake job. I did not ask, but they suggested they could save me money by grinding the edges of my old rotors plus installing new brake pads. They told me this would fix the problem so I agreed. I paid them to do a rear brake job (over $400). A week after I got my car back, the squeaking was back and I also developed a bad vibration in the back of the car when I applied the brakes on the highway. I called them and talked with my service advisor ( Tommy), and he said I would probably need new rotors. I told him I would pay for the cost of the new rotors but the rest of the labor cost of the original brake job should be under warranty. He informed me that none of the previous work they did was under warranty because of the rotor grinding that they recommended, so I would have to pay for another rear brake job( another $400+). I told him I would not pay for the same brake job labor twice! Originally I relied on their advice and knowledge to check my car properly and make the necessary recommendations and repairs. They failed to do this and did not repair it properly. I do not think I should have to pay a mechanic twice because he initially misdiagnosed the problem. So, how does this save me money and how many times do they expect a customer to pay the labor for a rear brake job?...Now, my car feels like I have no back brakes! In the future I will take my car someplace else for repairs and buy my new vehicles elsewhere. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!! More

Since the dealership changed to Capital, the service at this once great dealership has been horrible. Yesterday I took my vehicle in for scheduled maintenance. Told it would be an hour and a half, waited this once great dealership has been horrible. Yesterday I took my vehicle in for scheduled maintenance. Told it would be an hour and a half, waited more than three hours. Every request for update on time was met with the “ 15 more minutes” lie. I would not mind having to wait a bit longer if the employees simply told the truth. This is the absolute last time I will be dealing with this dealership. When paying they even had the nerve to include an envelope with exclusive offers to buy a new car with rates “ just for you”. Who are they kidding?? More
From day 1, buying my new 2019 GMC Truck from Clair, to receiving regular LOF maintenance over the past couple years. And now having to do a minor insurance claim repair in the collision shop. Time for a review. Which I've never cared to do in the past. But this seemed most worthy. Most recently the service from Erin Whelan in the Collision Center. She provide me with the best customer service I have ever experienced. From quick email and phone call returns, she always seemed to be on top of things. Big shout out to the collision repair team as well as my truck came out looking brand new again. From inside and out! I was very impressed. Feels like day 1 of driving the new truck again. Thank you all at Capital Chevrolet Buick GMC. More
I purchased my car used (7 months old) back in October of 2018, and the purchase went smoothly. Everyone was great throughout the purchase, however, we made sure in our contract that maintenance would be cov 2018, and the purchase went smoothly. Everyone was great throughout the purchase, however, we made sure in our contract that maintenance would be covered for two years from the date of my purchase, not from the original purchase. Our sales lady told us it would be from my purchase and made an amendment to the contract. Fast forward to today and they won’t even give me a simple oil change for free. They are claiming my 2-year maintenance ended in April (it is currently June, expected if to last until October) and they have “never heard of someone ever doing that”. I couldn’t even get a service in April because of the pandemic. The lady I spoke to on the phone also said it was something “I would have to figure out”. Great customer service. Don’t count on these guys being reliable after the purchase of your vehicle. Safe to say I will never be bringing any work back to Capital Chev. More

Brian has always followed up with phone calls to let me know what stage either one of my vehicles are at, and also calls to ensure I was completely satisfied with the work Brian does and the Service Technicians. Brian I did and email Bruce however no email at the company. Never the less my sincere thanks for all your hard work and it is also a Pleasure to have known you over the years. Worst Buick Service Centre in Calgary My wife took our Buick Enclave to this dealership with the side detection and rear back-up detection showing errors. The errors were due to the fuse My wife took our Buick Enclave to this dealership with the side detection and rear back-up detection showing errors. The errors were due to the fuse blowing as one of the modules were shorting out. We had our local mechanic determine the problem was the left side detection module had failed. My wife took the vehicle to Capital Chev with the mechanics report. They informed her that they needed to replace both side detection modules and also troubleshoot the rear detection system (verbal quote was over $3000). When questioned, the service representative told us that the modules were 'matched' and both had to be replaced (lie). I asked if they had separate part number to which he replied yes so they could be replaced individually. He then told me that the mechanic told him they were very corroded and looked like both were failed (he hadn't checked them with a meter to see if they were shorted). I requested that they just change the one that we knew was failed. The service tech then informed me that they needed to pull the bumper to replace the module. This was an outright lie as I had inspected the module before I brought it in, and it was very accessible in the rear quarter panel (couple of screws and an electrical plug). It should be a maximum 15-30 minute job. We were charged $300 in labor. We received the failed module back when we picked up the vehicle and it is a totally sealed unit, so there is no way the mechanic would know if the unit was corroded inside or not. I was lied to several times during my communications with this service department. I would like to think that they didn't proceed down this path because they were dealing with my wife and that they assumed they could just tell her that all these parts needed to be replaced and she would proceed without questioning it because she wouldn't know better, but it really looked that way. This is the first negative review I have written about a dealership, but I would avoid this service department at all costs and definitely not recommend them for any kind of work. They were blatantly dishonest and did not have my best interest in mind. BTW - After insisting that they replace the single module that we had already troubleshot, the system worked fine. The part cost $720 and I was charged another $420 in service and fees. More
