Hello William, here at Campus Infiniti, we pride ourselves with our thorough vehicle inspections. I’m sorry to hear you did not have a good experience with us. After speaking with the Fixed Operations Manager, there was some disassembly involved in verifying that the part you supplied was incorrect. We had to remove the wheel, fender liner, fuel filler hose and mounting hardware to determine that the mounting hardware part that was provided was incorrect. The fuel filler pipe is not visible till items are removed. In regards to the key, getting the security access code is not as simple as getting the part number off the BCM. The serial number off the BCM is required, which either involves accessing the BCM, which is behind some panels, or connecting the computer to the car and then retrieving the serial number of the BCM. Again, not a quick process. Once the serial number is available, then it gets entered into the Nissan System to get a code. As you can imagine, there has to be some security steps so the code isn’t readily available to prevent vehicle theft. Jack Ouellet, our Fixed Operations Manager, has tried to reach out to get some more information.
