I ended up buying a 2014 Silverado High Country and I was excited to find my dream truck. I paid cash with all my savings and thought I made a good decision. Well a thousand kilometres later I’ve had to invest 10+ grand. Was promised it would pass an out of province yet failed miserably. The service department butchered the alignment and when they delivered it the front tires were ruined. The serpentine belt was split in two and it had no muffler either. Cost me just under 3000$ to get an out of province pass. Then after owning it less than a month the transmission failed. 7000$ later my truck is now functioning as intended like it was promised. The service department manager has ghosted me now going on over a month. Was promised that they would refund for some of the work needed to pass the out of province but to no avail nothing. So now here I sit frustrated, taken advantage of, out of savings and in debt. Worst off they sent me on a test drive with my two boys knowing the alignment was faulty(relieved nothing happens while on Deerfoot). I brought it up when returning after and was assured that the alignment would be looked at before delivery. Just no care taken. They don’t care about their customers. Confirmed four times that a truck would be available for test drive before driving in for out of town and taking an afternoon off work. Also had my wife drive from the opposite side of town.
