On behalf of the staff of Bustard, we do apologize for the experience you had. The integrity of the staff is of the utmost importance to Bustard Chrysler and the last thing we want is for our clients to feel as though they were lied to. While I can understand why you felt lied to, there was no intent to lie, there were a few mistakes made of which you were explained to you by our staff, unfortunately, mistakes are made and all we can do is apologize and hope you understand the explanation. Bustard Chrysler did honor the 50/50 split at the time of sale so I am uncertain as to why you mention this in your message. As for the “accident claim”, the actual Carproof shows no accident claims, the client who traded the vehicle in disclosed to Bustard that there was a small accident that wasn't actually reported. In Ontario, a dealer is not required to disclose any claims under the amount of $3000, our sales person told you about the small claim as a goodwill to you, not with any intent to deceive you. The Nitrogen and Etching were removed at time of deal before you went into the business office and was never a part of the deal as per your request. Unfortunately, perception is reality and what you may have perceived as “stern” and “offended” behavior wasn't what was intended. We view service contracts and warranties as a value and perhaps she was disappointed that she was unable to fully explain why these warranties are so important, so while you may have seen her as stern the reality is that she only has the best interests of our clients in mind and is a valued employee. With all of that being said, we want to thank you for your business.
