I have bought 4 jeep wranglers in the past 4 years, 3 from Wendells motors in kitchener on fairway road staff and will work to earn your business. I have bought 4 jeep wranglers in the past 4 years, 3 from Wendells motors in kitchener on fairway road and I DO NOT recommend wendells due to their over charging and dishonesty. When we compared the 2 dealerships for pricing, Bustards blew Wendells out of the waters regarding first projected price and that in itself shows that Bustards Chrysler Jeep are an honest dealership to deal with. If anybody reads this review, please be sure to compare pricing between the 2 if your from the Kitchener-Waterloo area and u will see for yourself the better pricing and much more honest business practices. Even the simple little things like: actually filling the fuel tank to FULL(unlike wendells which only filled to around a quarter tank) letting us know ahead of time when the exact delivery date would commence the service/sales + finance managers had the courtesy of coming out and introducing themselves and had a smile on their faces(unlike Wendells which i found them to be arrogant and unresonable on trade in values) Summary-- I am a die hard Jeep fan and when I do decide in the future to purchase another Jeep, Bustards will be getting our business, end of story! More
Derek was great to work with right from the start. He gave me a fantastic price on the truck and him and his team did an unbelieveble job of cleaning it up prior to delivery, it was absolutley spotless and looked like a new truck. I now also feel like a I have someone I can come to with questions or concerns that will give me a straight answer and help me out. My search for a new truck was daunting, three other dealerships including two other brands (Ford and GM) did not return calls, didn't have time to meet till the following week or said they couldn't ord dealerships including two other brands (Ford and GM) did not return calls, didn't have time to meet till the following week or said they couldn't order or offered very low ball amounts on my trade. I happened to be at Conestoga mall in Waterloo and noticed the Bustard Waterloo dealership and thought one more try. I addressed the sales manager curtly and asked if he had anyone that may have time to sell a new truck. He introduced me to Crag Penney. I was a bit terse and abrupt expecting the same "take what I have or leave it" attitude. Mr. Penney went out of his way to have a truck delivered from Listowel with the same engine I was interested in and then arranged a nice long test drive as in about 25 km. We haggled professionally for a bit and he ordered me a brand new 2014 RAM 1500, gave me a good price and a fair "meaning honest" trade in for our used car. Christina Lofthouse handled warranty and financing and was courteous, polite and efficient. I purchased a new vehicle about every three years since 1977. Ms. Lofthouse and Mr. Penney delivered on all they said they would in a timely and professional manner. I will do business with them and their firm again. More
Salesman was very nice. Helpful in letting us take a good test drive. Shook my hand and made me feel valued when we returned to pick up the vehicle. However, we were lied to at three different times- we were read the wrong car proof, told us the 'dealer fees' were mandatory (also was not told about the fees until afterwards), and promised 50/50 for any repairs in 30 days, when later told us 70/30. It was very surprising and disappointing. Not to mention made us very nervous to get into a deal where we had no real positive confidence in what we were buying. Turns out the dealer fee of $650 was not mandatory. The financial lady seemed offended and became stern about us declining warranty. She was very friendly at the start, but once we declined warranty her entire mood switched and was not very friendly. I simply do not want to pay for a warranty that is worth half the vehicle. I was open with the fact of being on a budget, but she was very persistent and judgemental in our decline. When we returned to pick up the jeep, she did not bat an eye at us. A little disappointing. Windshield washer stopped working over holiday period. Brought my vehicle to Bustard's (Waterloo) on first day open after holidays. The Service Dept. was very busy with a skeleton staff on duty. Marion Henvey (Service Advisor) and Jim McTurk (Service Tech.) immediately went into action diagnosing my problem, finding a replacement part in the stock room, and installing the new part on my vehicle. All in all, I was on my way in 10 minutes. It's the great customer service experiences, like the one described above, that have made me extremely happy with my relationship with Bustard Chrysler over the past 18 years. More
