2018 Nissan Leaf Lost Order I order my 2018 Nissan Leaf on May 6th, give my $1,000 deposit. Told car would be in 3rd or 4th week of July. I call in June 19th just to inquire if I order my 2018 Nissan Leaf on May 6th, give my $1,000 deposit. Told car would be in 3rd or 4th week of July. I call in June 19th just to inquire if maybe a delivery date has been given. Response from the sales lady is "oh your responding to my phone call from last night? Told her i got no call (checked voice mail to verify). She says 2018 Leaf production has ended, factory being retooled for 2019 version and to expect a December delivery. I ask what happens if the Ontario EV rebate program ends before December? She replies that this is out of their control and you will get your deposit refunded if you wish. I reply that this is definitely within Nissan's control as THEY WERE THE ONES WHO STOPPED PRODUCTION OF CARS THEY HAD DEPOSITS ON! I was told to take it up with Nissan Canada and basically hung up on after that. I thought a car dealership would be in the business of selling cars, not discouraging car sales. More
